If I was writing this review before this last weekend, I would have given a 5 star rating. Recently moved from one unit to another (1bedroom to 2 bedroom unit) and let me just say how much i regret not moving to another complex. I thought i was making a smart choice by staying here because before this never had many issues and I loved my other unit. Upon moving in, multiple things were noticed that had to be fixed..some things were also noticed that cannot be fixed like old pipes that make very ...
loud noises when hot water is on, carpet coming up in corners of the house. It's obvious this unit was constructed very poorly and quickly with no attention to detail. My main issue is with the maintenance crew, Recently they came to paint shelves in 2nd bedroom and I cannot believe the quality of work they did. A 2 year old would have completed the task better. Long story short I no longer will be recommending this complex to anyone.

Kitchen is Huge - Great Upgrades!

The upgraded kitchen (granite counter, wood floors, stainless steel appliances) is not your typical "galley" kitchen most apartments offer - it's twice the size and is a joy cooking in because it's like cooking in a house kitchen. The staff and maintenance crew are outstanding. They care about their residents and are very particular about the appearance of the community. The community's quiet, as well, and that is very important to me.

Carmel Woods Apartments is a wonderful place to live! Although neighbors come and go, and keep to themselves in their busy lives, my time here has been restful, relaxing and simply, home. The apartment staff have been more than just people who manage the complex...they are my friends and neighbors. I wouldn't want it any other way!
