Things to know before you move in…
March 3, 2025I have lived here for 2.5 years. A few things to know before you consider moving in: 1. Deliveries are a BIG problem. There is no access to the building via call box/directory so if you are someone who gets packages from FedEx, UPS, USPS, DHL, or food delivery like Door Dash, Grubhub, Uber Eats etc, it is very difficult to get your deliveries. There is an Amazon Hub that receives packages from Amazon and sometimes other drivers will drop stuff off by the hub if they know where it is. Be prepared ...to chase down your food delivery driver every time - they can’t access the building and get very confused. Multiple management companies have cited safety as the reason for not having a call box or a way to buzz people in and are not interested in troubleshooting the issue further. 2. Management changes. The building management company changes frequently, resulting in new apps to pay rent, dealing with new people all the time, different ways to report concerns, etc. 3. Very limited guest parking. There are only 6 guest parking spaces and they are always full. Street parking is difficult. If you are someone who has guest over frequently, you may want to consider another complex.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
No communication
October 11, 2021No on-site office and when you send emails leave messages and text messages they are not returned . Also there is a major animal issue with animals regularly roaming the hallwaysReview from Apartments.com
Terrible
May 19, 2020Welcome to the Wild Wild West. This apartment complex is lawless. Rules are not enforced, so you can basically do whatever you want. As long as you pay the rent, you’ll be allowed to stay here. You’ve got some very poor inconsiderate residents here that can easily make you living experience absolutely horrifying. Parking here is atrocious. Walls are paper thin. There is no leasing office or a semi-present leasing manager who checks up on the property. The only bright aspect of the whole place is ...the excellent maintenance man Cody. Do yourself a favor and when you’ve had a long day at work, don’t choose to have this be the place you come home too. You’ll be miserable!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Quiet Area, nice apartments
June 14, 2016Cascara Canyon are nice apartments located on not far from downtown Martinez. A small, friendly community with the only drawback, onsite management is slow to forgetful. I've been waiting for 5 months to have a light fixture repaired/replaced. I have lovely wires hanging from the ceiling, I'm pretty sure he forgot about me. I guess he'll be forced to fix it when I give my move out noticeProperty Manager Responded
