About Chapin HEights
I am renting a recently renovated 2br, 1ba luxury apartment in a small building. The building has a roof deck with a view of the city, and is located in the lively U street neighborhood of Washington, DC. My street is quiet, but the neighborhood offers many amenities, shops, and restaurants. It is also a short walk from several Metro, bus, and bike lines. It is a block from the excellent Streets market grocery. The apartment has hardwood floors, W/D in the unit, A/C, ample closet space, a dishwasher, and heated floors in the bathroom. It is furnished. I am a professor who will be on sabbatical in New York for the 2015-16 academic year, and I am looking to rent my 2br condo during that time. My dates are somewhat flexible, beginning in August and extending through may or through the end of summer 2016. The food, drink, and culture scene along 14th street has drawn media attention: http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424127887324165204579028942957444288 Living on Chapin Street has many advantages. You can read a book on the deck with views of the city, and then prepare a meal on the grill. You might shop at the farmer's market down the street, and then bring back your provisions to the full kitchen. On weekends, enjoy the green expanse of Meridian Hill Park, or bike through Rock Creek Park. The price is $3K/mo.
Chapin HEights is located in the Columbia Heights Neighborhood and 20009 Zip code of Washington, DC.
