Save yourself the headache
September 28, 2020The worst place I have ever lived. They don’t pick up the trash when they are supposed to and that is something that they charge for. It’s like living in a landfill sometimes. So I now have to call the city to report them. Have called about my room not having proper insulation multiple times and it has never been resolved. The room is way too hot and stuffy in the summer and extremely cold in the winter. Was harassed by the front desk about smoking marijuana until I brought them a drug test I ...took for work so they would leave me alone and then they told me what neighbor was saying I was smoking marijuana passing the blame, extremely unprofessional. They change management every couple of months and the front desk gets more and more incompetent with each change of management. Recently had my car towed from visitor parking when I live here and have not heard any response from the manager. Save yourself the headache and pick somewhere else. Oh also had a lot of car break ins in these gated apartments because the gate is always broken and they take forever to fix it so anyone can walk in. They will turn your water off without warning or telling you how long it’s going to be off for.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!! PLEASE READ REVIEW BEFORE CONSIDERING A TOUR HERE!!!
September 24, 2018DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! Please read this review before choosing sixty25. I have lived here for a number of years now and am extremely dissatisfied at how unsafe this complex is. If I could I would put down -10 stars on this place. Break ins. 2017 December to January there were 15 breaks ins on apartments from talking with the maintenance people at the time. Fast forward to now another unit was broken into last week. Management responds only with a letter saying that crime can happen anytime and it ...is our responsibility to keep an eye out for criminal activity... I understand that break ins can happen anytime but sixty25 is making it easy for these crimes to happen by #1 Leaving the main gate open 24/7 for the last 6 months even at night claiming that the gate is broken, #2 Not placing a guard on property at night (one private security car drives by at night for 5 min, I see him when I walk my dog he doesn't leave the car) when we live next to the highest crime rate neighborhood in the DFW metroplex that is COMO, #3 Installed pet yards on the outside of the bottom floor units that face outside the property with no locks on the 5 ft gate so that anyone can simply open the gate and stroll up to your sliding glass door (that's how my neighbor last year got broken into and got cleaned out over the holidays). Sixty25 isn't even making an effort to keep residents safety a priority. Facilities and grounds. Gym was renovated recently and looks nice except that #1 Two treadmills installed do not have the correct outlet to plug into the wall so they have been sitting there for the last month completely useless, #2 Weights are missing from the dumbbell set without their counterpart or missing certain weights completely. Also, as a resident with a dog who picks up after themselves they have stands that would contain poop bags but the maintenance people or staff never keep them supplied.Property Manager Responded

Nice apartment, but you will probably get robbed.
August 6, 2018There were over 15 robberies within a month when the many students who lived here went on Winter Break. Despite this, they haven't even added security cameras as a deterrent, let alone fix their gate which is left open for anyone to enter and exit at ease. Apart from the robberies, however, the apartment itself is pretty nice, just more expensive that it should be. Be warned that there are always additional fees they add to everyone's bill after moving out. The trash is sometimes all over the ...place, but it's not too bad.Property Manager Responded

DONT DO IT
February 1, 2018WORST COMPLEX EVER. If I could give this place all 0 stars I would. I lived here for 2 years, 1 of them being with the Cumberland management who were so much better than the management now. I would not recommend this place for anyone. The property is across the street from "Como" which has one of the highest crime ratings in Fort Worth. My car was broken into twice, my AC unit was stolen from in front of my apartment a few months later. I repeatedly asked the management to put a padlock on the ..."backyard" they for some reason put in front of my apartment and they repeatedly gave me excuses about why they were waiting. They also said they would cage my AC unit down and never did that either. I never felt safe in my apartment and then on Christmas night while I was home with my family my apartment was broken into along with 2 other apartments. It was completely ransacked and they were still able to walk out of my front door with all of my stuff. The extra "security" they said they hired was a lie. They don't care about their residents, the manager never even called me to check in on how I was post-break in or ask if there was anything they could do. I am a UNTHSC student right now and was told that it was the best place for students to live and 80% of the community was also UNTHSC students, but this is not true. Terrified Resident
January 17, 2018This place was great throughout the past year. However, when new management came in, everything has gone downhill. The management team makes false promises about fulfilling work orders. They have been "guessing" my water bill because they do not have it ready at the time my rent is due so then the next month I end up owing an extra amount. They are so disorganized and extremely unreliable. The area is just not safe. There have been countless break-ins and management will lie to your face about ...them. Not only are the units on the street getting broken into, but also units on the third floor! This is mostly due to the fact that the security is so poor. Our gates were not padlocked and we did not have a security guard walking around until countless break-ins occurred over Christmas. The drive-in gate is always broken. When I moved in under old management, it was great and they said that the complex had a lot of UNT students. I would encourage future students NOT to live here as it is unsafe and frankly unprofessional. Not Safe!
November 27, 2017The apartment complex is just okay. It's too expensive for what it offers. Recently, there has been a lot of break ins and robberies in the apartment complexes. Management isn't doing anything about it. They haven't placed new cameras nor hire any security guards. With the money that we're paying, all they're doing is renovating (an already new complex) so they can charge even more. It's really annoying to have to smell paint all the time and have workers all around the windows. Management is ...trying to say that they're renovating for us, but in fact it's for their own profit. Why not put all that money to ensure the safety of your residences? All in all, I don't think I will be able to stay here after my lease is up because I don't want to fear for my life all the time or wake up to see that my car has been broken into. Decent turned to Dangerous, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
November 27, 2017Ever since greystar has taken over these apartments the safety of this place has plummeted and the management does nothing to try to protect its residents. When I first here in July I found them to be relatively safe even though they were right next to como. All of the facilities were decent and the price was great for being a student. There was a nice security officer that sat out front across from my building and I would pass him on my way to go workout. I felt comfortable if not safe. Now, I ...cannot even remember the last time I saw him. So all of what made this complex decent basically went out the window once Greystar started managing the Apartments. Now our cars get broken into and now recently our apartments as well. Countless amount of valuables have been stolen from my classmates and I who live here. The management basically has said if we get broken into its our problem and not theirs. They were even callous enough to say that we should know to lock our cars, which by the way everyone does lock the car so that comment in itself is condescending and arrogant. Whoever has been breaking into the cars has a slimjim and knows what they are doing as to not break anything. For my classmates' apartments they jiggled the lock on their sliding door and got in that way so its not that they were unlocked which angers me because the management is trying to push it off as its our fault so they don't have to take responsibility. The past few nights several of my classmates have heard slight knocks and movements at their doors in the middle of the night as if someone is testing to see if they're locked. For now it is only our stuff that is being stolen but I am beyond terrified that one of my classmates, their families, or myself are eventually going to get hurt from a break in. We have gone to the staff to voice our concerns and found that they are rude and condescending and have no concern for our worries and problems. They only care about the money they think they are going to make. As for our worries about our safety they have not only done nothing, but actually refuse to do anything to make this complex safer. The gates are always open so anyone can come in and which is why both cars inside and outside of the gate have been broken into along with apartments. Quiet, convenient, minutes from anywhere in FW
July 4, 2017I've lived at Sixty25 at Ridglea Hills (formerly Cumberland at the Ridglea) since moving to Fort Worth in 2010, and can't say enough good things about this complex. You're minutes from anywhere in Fort Worth (downtown, Cultural District, Magnolia, etc.) and everything you could ever want in terms of grocery stores, restaurants, bars, etc. are within a three-block radius. Maintenance is quick, the walls aren't paper-thin, buildings are well-maintained, area doesn't flood during those spontaneous ...Texas downpours...I have yet to find anything bad to say about this place and am proud to call it home!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Hope you don't get an apartment next to Bryant Irvin
July 26, 2016Everything about this place has been average to good. Maintenance requests are finished in a timely manner (as long as you remind them), the property seems pretty clean (although groundskeepers have no regards for your covering your car in filth), and bugs haven't seemed to be a problem. The main problem I have with this complex is the how loud everything is. If you are unlucky enough to be placed in an apartment along Bryant Irvin road, you will be subject to the sound of every single car, ...siren, and even pedestrian that passes. I can hear people's conversations that are walking by and I'm on the third floor. The single pane cheap windows and glass door provide no insulation from sound or outside temperature. This also includes the ruckus that comes from the lowly neighborhood across the street. As I'm typing this, there is a car parked in a driveway of a house nearby with his music and subwoofer blasting. I can make out the words of the song. Minutes from Downtown
August 8, 2015This complex is only about 10 minutes from downtown Fort Worth, the museum district, and the TCU campus. The staff is great to work with and are extremely helpful. The apartments are well maintained and offer great amenities. The common areas include a gated pool, gym, and pool/billiards table. The east side of the apartment complex is against a busy city street and gets loud due to the nearby fire department. July 31, 2015As a student and resident for 6 years, Cumberland offered me a great discounted rate off the market price. They offered me free washer and dryer and no deposit. The place is located next to the Ridglea country club. Although it across from the street from como, it is gated and a security guard is present at night, along with police patrol. They offer basic features that are common in most new apartment complex. The downside is the lack of parking, which it is best to get a cover parking spot ...for 35 bucks. Another downside is that only Internet provider is AT&T. The complex is mostly quiet with majority of the residents are students from UNT Health Science Center which most of them are professionals.
