In the community room, our coffee club gets together every morning and various other fun events like Bingo, Summer BBQ’s and karaoke parties throughout the year. There is a Flu shot clinic every Autumn, free tax preparation by AARP volunteers every Spring, and weekly delivery with Meals on Wheels program. Deering Manor is also conveniently located right next door to Fred’s grocery store and 1/2 a block away from the Post Office. We are within 2 blocks of numerous restaurants, local Banks, hardware store, and so much more. We are within a 1/2 mile from Fairview Mesaba Clinic. Nashwauk has a local fishing pier, walking trail and Arrowhead Transit even stops at our front door and provides transportation for shopping in Grand Rapids and Hibbing. Deering Manor is a great place to call home!!
