Del Rio Apartments
August 15, 2015Located on Sepulveda Blvd just north of Palms Blvd, this building in Westside Village near Palms is right next to a Trader Joe's, CVS Pharmacy, with a Haggen grocery store across the street on Sepulveda. "Coffee Bean And Tea Leaf" coffee shop is a short walk away. There are restaurants and a bakery in a shopping center south of the building across Palms, with a Wells Fargo Bank within walking distance, and bus stops (northbound and southbound) on either side of Sepulveda for both the Culver ...City 6 and Santa Monica 12 bus lines, with option for the Rapid 6 bus. The glass door to the balcony is doubled—which is to say there are two of them, one over the other, which greatly muffles outside sounds. Water is paid for, electricity and phone are not. Every apartment is Verizon FIOS-enabled should you choose to sign up with Verizon; they can also accept cable or DSL from the other providers in the area. Apartment kitchen is furnished with a dishwasher; refrigerator with freezer; single-basin kitchen sink with disposal; an electric stove/oven combo; microwave oven, and a number of cabinets. The bathroom has a sink, cabinets, and a shower-bath combination. (You will need to purchase and provide your own shower curtains and rings.) When I moved in a few years ago most apartment units had carpet, but a few units have hardwood floors, so if that's a requirement you can ask the manager if any of those units are available. There is a jacuzzi in the back area with some nice outdoor decor; grills on the sunroof; a sunroof (with grills on it!) and outdoor furniture; a sauna; a small gym; and a laundry room. Neighbors are usually quiet; people tend to keep to themselves but those whom I've encountered were friendly. The apartment manager is friendly, polite, professional, extremely helpful when I needed it; you can't put a price on that. The apartment complex allows cats, although I don't recall what the limit was. Downsides: The hallway outside my door is not climate-controlled, and this is California. Summers get hot here, so the hallway gets hot during the summer. My AC fan is a bit loud. Very conveniently located
August 13, 2015Del rio apts on sepulveda blvd is very conveniently located to grocery stores , markets., restaurants , pharmacy , bus stops and freeways . Though the apts / rooms are very small and not enough storage space , staff / management is friendly and responsible- the property is guarded with security and nite guard - making it safe to liveReview from Apartments.com
