    Customer service is absolutely terrible. The worst I've ever seen. Apartments are decent, walls are thin so be prepared for a high nipsco bill in the winter as well as hearing everytime your neighbor walk, cough or sneeze.

  • Keep looking

    Do NOT move here. Just find someplace else. I started renting almost 4 years ago when it was still Cressmore Arms and they had an amazing staff. Almost 2 years now since being bought out and I’ve experienced some of the worst times ever in an apartment complex. My neighbors throw parties under me, I’ve complained to management and they did nothing. Called and emailed. Nothing. Finally sent in a threatening email and a woman called and lied to me saying she’s been trying to contact me. After she ...
    said she’s handle it, it didn’t stop and I emailed and called again. No answer this time. They even had a dog barking so constantly that my friends kids couldn’t sleep. Machines in the laundry are always broken, we’ve had to deal with no hot water or water at all for days. I had them come take my toilet once because of an issue. They said they wouldn’t have the part until the next day. I had no where to poop. lol. Maintenance left a vacant apartment open for me in another building but wouldn’t give me a key to the entrance….so….. Just move some place else. It’s not at all worth it. The management is incredibly incompetent and useless.

  • Terrible Experience

    I was warned about the new management not caring about keeping people long term and it shows. When you have a problem, they act like you are bugging them but still want to get paid. They are charging all this money and you would think you would have updated everything throughout the place. I’ve never seen where management just wantS you to move out. Extremely disappointed

  • Disappointed.

    My boyfriend and I scheduled an appointment to view a two bedroom. We arrived at the appointment to be greeted and kept waiting for 30 minutes while the girl working was trying to get the office phone to work. She then very quickly went over pricing while on the phone, and running around the office and handed a pamphlet. Then once she hung up the phone, decided to ask us if we needed something. My boyfriend then told her we wanted to view an apartment and she very rudely and with an attitude, ...
    decided to say that she didn’t have anything until April. Never have we been treated so poorly while searching for our future home. If there was nothing to show us, why would she continue with making an appointment for a viewing with us and why couldn’t she just say that over the phone?

  • Love it here!

    Had to move away from home for work and ended up picking Cressmoor for our place to live. Couldn't be happier with our choice! So quiet here and a peaceful environment to live. Never have to worry about anything with friendly neighbors and staff. Leyla makes it even easier with fast responses and always being there to help along with the maintenance. Highly recommend this apartment complex and when the time comes, we plan on renewing our lease!

  • Would live here again

    Cressmoor was great community to live in for the last 2.5 yrs. The neighbors are friendly, the community was quiet and safe, the staff was always responsive, and the location was ideal. If ever there were maintenance issues, the staff immediately addressed them. The apartments are spacious and updated, which allowed for us to live comfortably. It was time to buy a house, so we decided to leave, but I would highly recommend Cressmore to anyone of any age.

  • Great Quiet and Affordable Community

    I have lived at Cressmoor Arms Apartments for almost a year and it has been an extremely pleasant living environment. In fact, I've renewed my lease for a second year. The leasing management is great, and the rest of the staff is very nice and responds right away if there is a problem. It is a quiet community with nice neighbors. The grounds are always clean and the buildings are well maintained. I would definitely recommend this affordable community.

  • Best apartments in the area by far!!!

    I have lived at Cressmoor Arms for 3 years now and loved every minute of it. The apartments are superb to all others in the area. The kitchen is beautiful and the bedrooms and closets are massive. Storage space is definitely guaranteed here. Leyla the property manager is a sweetheart and will work with you if you ever have an issue. The maintenance staff do a wonderful job of keeping the property looking great. And the pool is such a great amenity to have in the summer. I will truly miss ...

  • Overpriced and Forgotten

    Be prepared for your rent to increase on a yearly basis. I've lived here for eight years and have decided the new rent increase ($85) is absolutely ridiculous. Usually its approximately $20 a year and even that does not make sense. When asked why, I was always told that property taxes have increased. There are outdated appliances in my apartment, an outside deck that is warped and in need of painting and the hallways are patched from other residents moving their furniture out and this complex ...
    either forgot or doesn't care enough to come back to repaint. The paint color in the hallways is another issue. Must of been a bargain basement deal. The description of the apartment only applies to certain apartments too, so don't believe the hype. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you really want an nice place to live and to feel that you're not being taken advantage of.

    Leyla! Is truely the best around! She helped me and my wife and our 2 kids get the right apartment for us! Her professionalism is like no other! She is on top of everything and always gets the task in hand done! I wouldn't want to rent anywhere else and go through nobody else except Leyla!
