Gorgeous Units w/ washer & dryer
September 15, 2022They did a great job of turning this community around. I lived her some many years ago prior to the remodel. They remodeled and installed washer/dryers in the units and really overhauled the entire complex. I was said to go but had to go back home to the midwest. Would definitely rent here again due to it being so centrally located. They allow pets too.... a big plus!Review from Apartments.com
Great People with Fantastic Management
May 16, 2016I moved here from San Diego last year with my wife. Great location with all the restaurants around and Safeway across the street, easy to walk to. Neighbors are super nice and friendly. Great responsible maintenance team to keep the buildings well maintained. Pool/Landscape always clean. Never seen any trash on the floor throughout my stay. Covered Parking with always-on lights during night is a plus. Surprising quite neighbor even though near downtown and I-10. I could see that owner ...spends money here and there to upgrade the property throughout the year. They re-did the landscape and BBQ deck this year. They also upkeep the AC unit for whole complex before summer to make sure all tenants have good AC. They take care of tenants! My family is growing, otherwise, I will stay in this place much longer. With the price and the service they provided, it is a great deal compare to other apartments near downtown. Also, I like the way they handle utilities. They handle it ALL so that I DO NOT need to apply Gas/ Electricity/ or water by myself. True move-in ready after they give you the keys. Nice bathroom layout where faucet sink is outside of the shower and toilet area. Great during morning if you have two people live in here. I would recommend this place to everyone. My only recommendation is I wish they could provide free-WiFi.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Easy, quiet, safe downtown living
April 26, 2016I only lived here for a year before I had to move to Texas for work but I wish I could live here much longer! It's a smaller, well-gated complex with a cool 70s retro vibe where all apartments face each other around a courtyard and because of this I always felt safe. The neighbors are all very friendly and watch out for each other (if your car lights are left on, they'll let you know.) The complex is always very clean and well-manicured and maintenance was same-day in my experience. I never had ...an issue with pests. I lived on the bottom floor and even during the very hottest days of summer my thermostat read between 78-90 without using the AC, probably because of its location in relation to the sun, but it definitely saved me hundreds of dollars in electricity. It's right across the street from a Safeway as well as the I-10, so getting to the highway only takes a second, but you can not hear the traffic. Actually the walls here are very thick, I barely even heard my upstairs neighbors walking around and I never heard my neighbors on my side. I always parked on 5th street (despite being offered a covered spot in the back of the apartment) and never had a problem finding a spot or any issues with my car. It's in close (walking) proximity to downtown without all the traffic and street closures during events. I work overnights and early mornings so I appreciated the quiet nature of this complex and the consideration of my neighbors. The one recommendation I would give to a new lessor is to bring lighting and a fan, as there are no ceiling lights in the bedroom or living room. Just think of it as a way to personalize you space.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
