  • Grounds are always dirty, Weed smoke everywhere

    I would not move here if I knew the management didn't care. We have lived here two years and we cannot wait to move out in September. Smoking is not allowed yet our entire hallway reeks of weed daily. Our next door neighbors constantly smoke weed and it seeps into the vents into our bedroom. Nobody cleans up the grounds, plants and shrubs are dead, the hallways and building common areas are cleaned maybe once a month. Not worth the money. The complex next to this one is always clean and well ...

  • DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!

    We have lived here 5 years, this is the 4th mgmt company and new owners! The management is the worst yet!! As a matter of fact the mgr could not take the unhappy residents complaints about all the issues that have happened since they came on last fall, and she walked off the job last week, the leasing mgr just quit and we are praying new manager can get things back in shape! Dog friendly? Yes, if you love walking the stairs where piles of dog crap are left by residents and staff had done nothing ...
    to get this problem under control! There is a dog park and bags are provided yet residents continue to let their dogs crap any and everywhere ( yes we need more responsible pet owners/ residents) BUT management has been absent on the issue! There is no smoking on property allowed but we constantly smell cigarette smoke in the building! The landscape used to be beautiful and well maintained and now it looks terrible! One of the “temp” maintenance guys will barely tap on the door and suddenly he’s turning a key to enter the apartment and doesn’t wait for a reply or for residents to open the door! Much bigger issues abound; but too much to write here! I’ve spoken to the regional mgr in the Spring and sent messages to Corporate but things have gotten worse rather than better! There are many nice communities and new apartments to choose from, don’t choose Encore!!!

    Don’t waste your time or money here. The staff does not care about anything going on. People are drunk at the pool with glass every night. Screaming & cussing. I can’t even see the pool from my apartment but I can always hear the craziness. If you call security, nothing happens. Bottom line, rent anywhere else but here.

  • Trashy - Don't Live Here

    The noise levels will drive you crazy. When my husband & I moved in, we felt that the higher rent would lead to quiet, relaxing community. It did not. Envision a trashy Motel 6's pool on a hot summer day; what types of people do you think of. That is who is at the pool from sun up to sun down. Bunches of kids are unsupervised at the pool. They're screaming constantly and using the pool furniture as toys. The few adults that use the pool are pretty bad too. They turn up the volume on their ...
    Bluetooth speakers to full blast and then proceed to carry on conversations with each other by yelling over the music. They let their dogs run wild in the pool area. I've seen dogs pee in the pool, defecate on the cool decking and drink from the pool. We asked maybe 20x before picking this unit if the pool was noisy- if so, we'd like a different unit. The office said, 'oh, of course it's very quiet'. LIE! If you're looking for a relaxing place to live, keep looking. It's nothing but screaming chaos over loud music from sun up to sun down.

  • Great luxury living

    We've lived here for 6 months and just changed to their new phase 2 buildings which were just released for renting this month. All the residents here are very nice, great comunity, you'll always get a warm welcome from someone when going outside. Pool is amazing and always well kept, same for the grill area, fitness center and club room. Never had any problems and rarely interacted with management, but when i did they were nice and courteous. The property is now under new management as of last ...
    month, and theyre all extremely nice and understanding, even under this transitional phase. Pretty much the definition of southern hospitality. Location is amazing, right next to parks, libraries, community centers and schools, all within walking distance. Never had any problems with safety, almost every day there are police parked on site, or bicycle police right in front of the building. Never heard of a break in, besides, all the buildings require fob access to get in. No doors are ever left open to where outsiders can come in. It is pricy, but well worth it. We love living here, and would recommend this place to anyone.

  • Wouldn’t pick again

    Definitely on the higher side of rent when it comes to the apartments in the area. The "promotion" of one month of free rent was misleading to say the least. You don't really get a month free, what you really get is a lower price on your monthly rent which is fine. Cindy is very sweet, I just really wish this was explained CLEARLY and she dropped the ball. Her employees in the office are nice except for Rachel wow. I had never met this lady until my move in date and if I would have met her a week ...
    before I seriously would have picked another apartment complex. Especially since one of my main priorities when looking for a new apartment was to find a leasing office I didn't want to avoid. Rude is an understatement, she has no consideration for her tone nor how it reflects to her clients. She even tried to get me to sign the paper you turn in after 48 hours when you inspect your apartment while picking up my keys. She also made me seem like I'm insane for not agreeing to sign this document without bringing it into my apartment. She had to wait to "ask a manager if it was okay". When I said fine "I'll wait I'm not signing off on saying there is nothing wrong with my apartment when this sheet says I have 48 or 24 hours to return it" she finally says fine go but you have to turn it in. Yeah no duh. I've worked in customer service for 10 years, there is a right way to speak to clients and there's a wrong way. I don't want to visit my leasing office because she's always there and I'd rather not have interaction with her. Unbelievably unprofessional. Everything is new which is great except the front door to the lobby still doesn't lock. I put in a ticket to fix it (Actually they put the ticket in because I put all of these mistakes on the sheet they just wanted me to sign and hand over.) which they did but that lasted maybe a day. Same thing with the lock on my back patio. Could do with out the rust stains in the tub but I love the water filter on the fridge. While they do let you know if they are entering your apartment, I still don't like that this notice is a few hours before hand. We didn't have a dumpster for a couple of months so that was a pain. Loud in the hall ways but pretty quite in the actual apartments. Has cool built in speakers. I just wanted to find a place I could live in for two or three years but it doesn't appear this is the right place.

    Cheap labor means short cuts. They appear to look nice but built really cheap low quality. And want high rent, those two dont go together. Look around elsewhere if possible.

  • Amazing Serivce

    Well... the first impression, they say is the best and most memorable (good or bad). I concur, with Dolce Living Hometown... this place mixes the down home feel, with the right amount of 'First Class' treatment!! My first experience was with Rachel, on what appeared to be a hectic, Sunday. She was pleasant, energetic, actually made me smile. I was desperately trying to find a place and was tired of looking, yet she made it a pleasant time. I left and quickly decided... this is the place!! ...
    By the time I called they were closed for the day, and I remembered Rachel saying she would be off on Monday & Tuesday. I thought... okay... now I've got to deal with someone new and I'm sure hoping they don't change my mind. BOOM!!!! Monday morning I call and speak with Cindy.... she was equally as pleasant as Rachel, and she quickly confirmed this would be home for me. I haven't yet moved in... will be another week or so, but in this last week, or two, I've talked to others in the office and I continue to be nothing short of Impressed!! If living here is anywhere as close to the experience I've has thus far... I CAN'T WAIT!!

    This apartment is expensive for nothing, there is no security and no good services and we are being harassed by neighbors all the time. Now they are doing construction work abroad. I can not keep my car clean and bother all the time.

  • This place Sucks!!!

    I live here and it has been one nightmare after another. We have had several break ins since I moved in April of this year. It took for ever for the pool to get opened. Most of the residence here are very upset because we all talk by email.. We seeking legal action against this complex. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! This place is over priced and the management and ownership do not care about us or our safety. We have been complaining for months about no secure locking doors. This place still has not ...
    completed the secured door system that should not have taken another several months to complete. The complex across from is not being robbed like we are because you can't get into the residence area without access. Again STAY AWAY!!! I am suing to get out of my lease and get damages for the incompetence here.
