April 30, 2024Prospective residents should be aware that Essence has not effectively enforced its smoke-free policy. Despite its claims, my unit has repeatedly been exposed to the smell of marijuana and tobacco smoke, impacting the quality of my living environment. I have addressed this issue with management on multiple occasions, yet no substantial measures have been taken to resolve it. This ongoing problem not only diminishes the comfort and health of the living space but also questions the reliability of ...management's commitment to uphold their own rules. If a smoke-free environment is important to you, it may be prudent to consider this when making your housing decision. Furthermore, for a new building, the frequent breakdown of the elevators are alarming. These elevators not only smell strongly of pet urine, with stains often visible on the floor, but also the pervasive use of artificial scents throughout the building to mask odors only exacerbates the unpleasant atmosphere.Property Manager Responded

Essence, like other non-smoking buildings cannot guarantee or warranty the smoke-free condition of the designated smoke-free areas. The success of our efforts to make the designated areas smoke-free depends on voluntary compliance. Nightmare Building: Negligent Management, Stolen Motorcycle, and Unlivable Conditions
April 21, 2024Living in this building has been a disappointment from day one. The management is completely useless when it comes to security. My motorcycle was stolen, and they couldn’t care less. They wouldn’t even let me see the security footage to provide description about the thief to the police report. Plus, the balcony is a no-go zone because of the constant smell of weed and cigarettes drifting in. And don’t even think about using the basketball court—the grass is covered in dog poop. Save yourself the ...headache and find somewhere else to live.Property Manager Responded

Beware not as described
April 21, 2024Do you like your car broken into, do you have a motorcycle you would want stolen? Inside your apartment, do you like loud music and parties, you like that big grass area by the basketball courts filled with dog poop that's never cleaned. Then this place is for you. Besides your car being broken into your motorcycle will get stolen. There's been multiple incidences of numerous car break-ins same night. Also multiple motorcycles stolen same day. Nobody cares here about anything. Nobody cares in ...management. They don't have real security. The guy is on his cell phone. Not paying attention at all. Cars are broken into bicycles are stolen from the bike lockup. You can see the padlocks on the ground constantly. This place is not safe at all. Beware.Property Manager Responded

Phenomenal Building
May 18, 2023I love the building they did a wonderful job on the design and layout . Love the gas stoves , kitchen design and all of the amenities. Very quiet . Security is awesome . Staff is always helpful. I usually leave once my lease is up in these buildings they can lose there luster quickly.but I have renewed once and will renew again .
