Ants!!!
January 22, 2019Poor construction!! I had ants throughout my entire lower level all spring and summer. I don't think they sealed the houses properly before building them. Then, in the winter, it was freezing cold! I had a constant air flow coming through my front door and up from the floor itself. I had to purchase a separate heater to keep my downstairs area livable. My utilities were super expensive because of this. In addition, I couldn't see through my downstairs windows. There was so much dirt and ...hard water stains on them that I couldn't see outside. Overall it was disappointing for the amount of money I was paying. I feel like I was robbed and I should have looked for a different place. Not Luxury
August 27, 2018This community is very misleading. There is nothing luxurious about these townhomes. The flooring squeaks and is super cheap. The granite is thin and appliances cheap- we're talking base models. I used to hear my neighbors opening and closing their doors and I could hear when my neighbor was in her bathroom. I think the most disappointing thing is the final out procedures. The office will not conduct a walk-thru with you so beware. They will charge for fake items that didnt' need ...replacing. I had a brand new air filter and all light bulbs working, and they still charged for it. It is definately a scam. You are not allowed to look at the unit prior to signing a contract. It was quite disappointing when I was able to move in and see the condition of the place. In hindsight, I never should have moved into this community. My money would have been better spent elsewhere. Layton has some beautiful townhomes full of luxury amenties for less. Beware it's not how it appears.Property Manager Responded

Amazing community to live!
April 2, 2018Such a great place to live! Very family friendly and quiet. Low to zero crime rate. Never had any issues with neighbors. Maintenance was always quick to resolve any issues with the units. Management is excellent and always attentive to any concerns we had. Price is great for what you get especially in the renting market these days. Would have leased another year but was only able to afford it because I had roommates. Overall a Good Place to Live
March 22, 2018My husband and I have lived at Farmington Crossing for almost three years. We have stayed because our rent has remained fairly consistent and overall we love the location and the unit. Pros: Beautiful up-to date units. Nice stainless steel appliances and lovely cabinets and countertops in the kitchen, quality laminate and carpet flooring throughout, good sized bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets, and good flow and space throughout the entire unit. Love the energy efficiency, our utility bills are ...consistently low. Love the convenience of the two stall garage attached to the unit. Units are incredibly quiet/noise proof. We have had various neighbors move in and out on both sides of our unit and have barely heard noise. The pools, hot tubs, and fitness center are a fun perk along with having a good bike/walking trail around the complex. Maintenance and Jocelyn are easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Never had problems with repairs being fixed in a timely manner. Cons: Guest parking rules and pet weight limit and breed rules. The parking rules are a little ridiculous - new rules were implemented about 2 years ago. They starting charging fees for additional parking spots and for guest parking. We have out of state friends and family that come visit and obviously stay for longer than 48 hours, so we have to pay to have them park. Since the complex is in suburban Utah, with plenty of parking - not a big city where parking is limited - the rules/fees seem a little extreme. Don't really understand why there is a weight limit and restricted breed rules for dogs, especially as it is not an apartment complex, there is plenty of green space around the complex, and the units are quite sound proof. Also confused if these rules are really enforced, because there are SO many tenants that have dogs that are clearly over the 40 lb. weight limit - and some have breeds that are restricted. Not sure if people are just not reporting their dogs to management or how exactly they are getting away with it? Overall seems like time to get rid of the weight and breed rules. Also, would love a fenced in dog park area (i.e. the grass area that is incredibly underutilized, in the already fenced in splash pad area). -Carolyn SherwoodRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great place to live!
March 20, 2018My wife and I have lived at Farmington Crossing for almost two years now, and have loved every minute! Everything in the unit is nice and works perfectly, and anytime there was a maintianence issue, it was fixed that day or the next. We’ve never had a problem with neighbors or crime or anything like that, it’s truly been a lovey experience and we will definitely be sad when it’s time to move. Luxury Living!
March 2, 2018I absolutely adore this community! From the moment we met Jocelyn who was pleasant and attentive to the ease of taking a tour, I knew this was the place I wanted to live. The location, setup of the community, color scheme of the outside of the buildings, the appliances and cleanliness on the inside of the unit, the amenities (clubhouses are beautiful, pools are always clean and the fitness center -- well, my son just loves it and the fact that it's open 24-hours is a bonus!), the responsiveness ...of maintenance, the spaciousness of my home, the friendliness of my neighbors ... I mean, what's not to like! It's amazing! Honestly. I was a little apprehensive when I was told about the insulation and energy-efficiency of their units, but I have to say that the electric bill for my 3-bedroom townhome has never gone above $60/month and I've lived here nearly a year. My bill this month was $43! Whenever I've needed something, Jocelyn was quick to get it done. I had a garage door motor problem not long after moving in and after troubleshooting it that evening it was replaced with a brand new one within a couple of days! Great for families!
February 21, 2018We originally moved in with the plan of being here 6 months, it has almost been 3 years. We absolutely LOVE the area and love how close we are to the freeway and we are just across the freeway from Station Park. Jocelyn is GREAT to work with. If you ever have any issue, a quick email is all it takes. They also send out emails if they see anyone not following the rules, which is why this is such a great place to live in. It is a VERY friendly and safe area. There are 2 swimming pools, 2 hot ...tubs, and a splash pad as well as many playground areas for the kids. You will not be sorry renting from here! One star
January 29, 2018in the last week We left this place in immaculate condition when we moved out, and we were expecting our full deposit returned to us. When we did get our deposit back it was $500 short. They stated the walls needed repair, baseboards needed to be fixed and 3 light bulbs were out. We basically caught them in a lie. I purchased light bulbs specifically for that reason in case they did go out, and when we left, every light bulb was working. Regarding the walls and baseboards, there might ...have been one or two scuffs on the walls which would have taken ten seconds to go over. I almost forgot they said they needed to clean the carpets. Which was untrue .We own a bissell carpet cleaner and we went over the carpets before we left. In fact, the carpets were dirty when we moved in ,and that is why we actually purchased the carpet cleaner.Property Manager Responded
