Move here only if you like ABUSE
January 4, 2020If you are a glutton for punishment and like communist regimes, then this is the place to live. The worst staff and abusive community I have ever dealt with. You are disrespected and not treated with dignity. They changed your keyed door into a SmartHome. Some of you may think this is upward mobility in technology, but they monitor your comings and goings and the system is always malfunctioning and you can't get into your home or leave because the lock does not close or open. That's just a ...small taste of what you will get in this place if you move here. You've been warned. You WILL regret living there. Run for the hills.Property Manager Responded

Do not live here
September 10, 2018This complex is ran by a large corporate structure based in Colorado. The office staff at Four Quarters can't do much without their approval. I signed a 1 year lease and renewed a couple months ago. You know that feeling when you know you'll probably regret it but try and convince yourself it'll be okay and do it anyway. That's exactly how I feel. Only reason I renewed was bc I didn't have time to move. Thus I regret this decision. So why do I regret staying and why shouldn't you live here: 1. If ...you need anything fixed you HAVE to go find the repair guys but if you don't it'll never get done. 2. Entire living process is ran like a bank. Want to discuss something about rent or bill call the corporate office and talk to someone who really doesn't care. 3. They nickle and dime you for everything. 4. Gate code: I've tried to get them to add my number to the gate code four times, never done so I just gave up trying. 5. Lack of security, on the weekends there's a guy sleeping in his car by the trash area, that's about it. 6. Driving out of the complex: turning left on 107th Ave is a car accident close call everytime. 7. Most importantly: rent is way too much for what you get. The layout of your apartment makes no sense, cheap appliances, etc. I'll put it this way. In the past year I have had 5, yes 5 different neighbors in the same unit. What that means to me is no one stays bc it's not a good option. Like I said I've only stayed bc I couldn't move. Trust me when I say don't live here. There's many options in the area and I highly suggest a different place.Property Manager Responded

Community is nice, staff are awful
June 21, 2018The community itself was nice. It's well kept and in a quiet location. However, the management staff are completely incompetent. I had two major maintenance issues while living there: an AC unit leaking water through the ceiling, and a malfunctioning/leaking dishwasher. The AC unit took three separate visits to get fixed, and I had to give up completely on the dishwasher after four failed attempts by them to fix it. My issue is that after each visit I was assured that the problems were fixed, ...when clearly this was not the case. I was also threatened eviction by the office staff on two different occasions because they had the incorrect apartment. Once for my neighbor's satellite dish and once for having an "illegal female resident". I understand that mixups happen, but this happened twice and both times the staff were incredibly rude and accusatory until they realized they were dealing with the wrong apartment. I was given no apology in either case. After moving out I was charged for not returning a key and a parking permit, which were both returned to staff at move out. Now I'm stuck fighting with the parent company two weeks after moving out because the Four Quarters staff are too incompetent to keep track of their own move out process. Bottom line: avoid this place like the plague.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible place to live
March 9, 2018Let’s start with no parking if you arrive after 8pm. One garbage tank for the entire community that’s located 2 blocks from most of the apartment. The pool is always “under repairs” and management office is a joke. Also, when you leave say gooodbye to your deposit as you won’t see a dime and you will owe them an additional $300 for paint and repairs. They haven’t upgraded their appliances and air condition in years meaning your electrical bill will come to be roughly $180 minimum. This is insane ...as I work all day and it’s only 2 of us living in these horrible apartments. Think twice before moving in here!Property Manager Responded

Stay away
June 26, 2017My husband and I rented here for a little over a year. While we lived there the townhouse/apartment completely fell apart. Before you move in they "repair" previous damages. They honestly just do horrible patch work, the plaster literally crumbles out of the holes they covered. They paint the walls right before you move in but the repainted walls have become so thick the paint continuously chips and smells for weeks after they are done. If you have a work order just be prepared because they enter ...your home with or without your permission, there have been a couple times I know people were in my home when we were not home I was not happy nor did I feel safe. Our fuse box was throwing out sparks to fix it they permanently left our outdoor lights on driving up our electrical bill. The gates are always broken and never closed. Had our rental car towed within 12 hours however there is no where to park because people who live there didn't claim there cars ( not wanting to pay the fee) so there are more cars than apartments and no assigned parking spaces. When you are pregnant like I was it became hard walking across the complex at night. Fees kept piling up with little explanation, your vehicle will acquire atleast one new dent/scratch a week. Oh the mold!!!! I was so sick I stayed at a friends why my husband had our apartment cleaned out. You will not get your deposit back! Just do yourself a favor and stay clear.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
I was baited into $220 in unexplained fees.
December 5, 2016I switched my auto-pay from one bank to another. I did my due diligence of double, triple checking the account/routing information. Payment typically being removed on the 1st, I called on the 2nd to see if everything was ok and to verify they had the correct numbers. For whatever reason, the payment company Aimco, claimed that they could not see the account number for verification, but just to call back Monday (the 5th) because it was probably just taking the weekend to process. Well Monday ...rolls around and they tell me that the payment was returned for Invalid Account Number Structure (along with a $40 fee), but they can't tell me what account number they used. And it was nice of them to suggest calling back on Monday, because now I owe them a $150 late fee, plus $30 to pay it back by card. Oh, and here's a nice ending to the letter: "This payment must be made within 48 hours. After the expiration of this period of time, this matter will be referred for legal action." They still won't tell me what account they charged, insist it's user error, but will provide nothing to substantiate that.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere.
October 3, 2016The process of obtaining the apartment was seamless. They were extremely friendly and kept you informed throughout the entire process. They were polite and courteous and seemed to be available for your every questions and need always. For the first couple of months we felt like we had found a treasure, a place we can call home and felt like we belonged. After the first six months we started to see the detractors comments that were left as feedback as we researched the place. The complex ...personnel lacked the hospitality that was first given to us in the beginning of our stay. It even got worst when management was turned over and the entire office was changed to new personnel. By the end of our third year, we regretted moving to this place and would not recommend it to nobody. They will treat you like your are royalty when the process of entering there complex is in motion. After that the honeymoon stage is over, you are treated as the number on the side of the building. They lack the people skills to make you feel like you belong to a great community, but they know how to paint the picture when you are driving the complex. We received an apartment that was not even close to the conditions of the one that was shown to us. Oh, and they also altered the final walk thru after it was singed. When we were leaving they wanted to charge us for leaving it better then what it was when it we took possession of the apartment. They give you a head count for the amount of people that you can have in the pool, but don’t take the time to police there own parking lot. Close community, to really, the gates are always open and if not they are broken. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere and do not allow yourself to be fooled by the facade that is created by its first impression. I am not one to right lengthy comments or feedback, as I consider myself a person that does not like to see the negative in things. But I felt like I had a responsibility in letting any person that was going to call this place home, like I thought I was for years to come, to know the truth about what they are getting themselves into. READ THE LEASE. We are quick to sign, but the small print does matter in this place. I hope that they can really turn the place around as it has incredible potential, but they need to start with the people that are working as the face of your organization for this location. Our best wishes for the future of your complex.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Don't move
January 19, 2016No good. No maintanance. The outlet bad placement. Never change the appliances no matter are broken, they use used appliances. Don't move ,too expensive for the place you paid and the reality is nothing is in good condition.Review from Apartments.com
Home Sweet Home
August 6, 2015I moved here after retiring from, and am very happy that I did. The apartments are cozy and well-maintained. The community is diverse and friendly. The buildings are painted in bright, cheerful tones. The landscaping frames this community in a lush, tropical way. I've been very happy with the response to any request for repairs and maintenance. Always quick and efficient. I enjoy using the gym and swimming pool. Both are kept clean and running well at all times. My grandchildren love to ...visit for a swim and to romp at the on site playground. In short,it's s very nice home, located close to lots of great shops and restaurants, where I am happy to live.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
STAY AWAY. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.
July 26, 2015What I thought was a lovely apartment/town home living turned into a weekly service request and feuding calls with the leasing office. I have lived here for the past 2 years and it has been a nightmare. My roommates car got broken into. The leasing office were aware of the situation and said that it happens often! When they remodel a neighboring apartment they do a full on RECONSTRUCTION of the apartment. You hear drilling as early 9am weekdays & 7 am on the weekends. So if you had plans on ...sleeping late, cancel that because they don't even give you a heads up. The A/C unit is always breaking and their solution is to bring a vacuum to suck the water out. That doesn't fix it, it just makes it worse. The leasing office staff is awful. If you go ask for a simple request, they look at you as if you're asking them to give you their unborn child. Overall service is horrible. They do have a great pool and gym but you're paying for comfortable living not to be laying in the pool all day. Oh and they don't have assigned parking for tenants either. So if you come home late, guess what?! You will be FAR from your apt. and im not talking a minute walk to your house. I mean about a 5-6 minute walk to your house. I would NOT recommend this place to anyoneRead MoreReview from Apartments.com
