Rude Management, terrible neighbors

December 28, 2023Maintenance is always friendly and quick with repairs though some need to be redone. Jillian in Management is responsive, friendly and professional, and really seems to care about the residents. I see and appreciate upgrades and community maintenance (tree trimming, window washing); though the hot tub (all jets not working) and fire pit both need attending and it would be nice if we had access to the game room without having to request a key only during office hours. Love the hours for the gym ...and pool deck. Is very nice to have a late night relaxing jacuzzi soak. Bike storage is also a big plus! November 30, 2023overall i love Gables, i have lived here for over three years now, noise level is always low and love my actual apartment, i love the open floor plan and my amenities. Whenever maintenance needs to be done they are pretty quick. the pool, jacuzzi, and gym are a plus. I think the only thing they can work on is cleaning the hallways and staircases more, however i feel like it is getting better.Review from Apartments.com

October 18, 2023Gables Point Loma is a pleasant complex with views of all the best parts of this side of San Diego. The neighborhood is lovely: quiet and peaceful with decent people and a real safe feeling to it. My apartment is spacious and nice with so much natural light through the windows -- and natural air flow -- that I'm racking up credit on my SDG&E account from the scant use of electricity! I enjoy my apartment, but the rent is quite high; I suppose that's to be expected in Point Loma, though. One ...additional note: the constant noise from overhead airplanes. They fly close to the apartment complex, sometimes causing the walls to shake. That's to be somewhat expected in this city, but I wish it was quieter sometimes, and for longer than a couple hours in the dead of night. Overall, though, I've been loving my stay here at Gables. If you're looking for a casual, small, keep-to-yourself apartment community with gorgeous views, kind staff, and sweet living spaces, Gables may strike your fancy!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Only complaint I have is that common areas aren’t very well kept, the hallways are dirty and the floors of the laundry room.
