Beautiful Apartment but have pest control issues
July 20, 2024I moved into my new apartment in July 2024 with excitement and high hopes, but my experience has been deeply distressing. Sameera, the leasing consultant, has been outstanding—extremely responsive and helpful. The apartment itself is beautiful, with excellent amenities like a gym, pool, and tennis court. Unfortunately, my joy has been marred by a severe roach and ant infestation. I reported this problem within two days of moving in, but I was informed that pest control only visits on Mondays. ...The initial visit didn’t solve the problem, and I continued to see pests everywhere—crawling on walls, ceilings, and counters. Despite my repeated calls to management, they haven’t conducted an inspection or provided effective support. I’m anxiously waiting for the second pest control visit, but the situation is worsening. When I called again, hoping for more help, I was told it was out of their hands. I was advised by Maria to buy pest control products, which contradicts the signed agreement stating that I shouldn’t use DIY methods. This added stress and frustration, as I’m already dealing with the inconvenience of having to store my belongings in bins and delaying furniture delivery. I’ve even had to enlist family help, which has been both embarrassing and exhausting. The lack of urgency and support from management has left me feeling helpless and overwhelmed. I’m spending my own money to fix a problem I didn’t create, and the management’s inaction is heart-wrenching. Outstanding Maintenance!
June 13, 2024Lived in Hamlin Apts for more than a year and had several maintenance issues. Each time my problems were resolved expeditiously. Most recently I had a problem with my ceiling fan. The maintenance crew said they needed to order a new replacement. In less than 24 hours a new (In the box) fan arrived and was installed by a very friendly and efficient worker. As a retired military member, I have spent many years in Apts all over the world. The Hamlin Maintenance Crew is best I have ever experienced.Review from Apartments.com

December 16, 2019I have lived at Hamlin at lake Brandon since 2015, and I just renewed my lease. I wanted to take a minute to say that I'm very pleased with my apartment, office staff and maintenance staff! The office staff are very professional, attentive and knowledgeable!... The Maintenance staff is very professional, timely and knowledgeable! With these qualities and cohesion makes a perfect team!! I strongly recommend this apartment community (five stars) and glad to call it home....THANK YOU to all the ...staff for what you do, to make Hamlin at Lake Brandon the place to live!!!!
