Property Manger is fantastic!
August 25, 2021Great customer service, spacious apartments, secure environment and great location for students and staffReview from Apartments.com
DON'T MOVE HERE
August 10, 2021Management is terrible, rude and unprofessional. Maintance is slow and you have to constantly go to the office for them to send somebody. They NEVER answer the phone. Paying rent is inconvenient because they only accept money orders. The bugs are ridiculously huge and all over the place. They always tow around midnight. The gate is broke half of the time and they literally allow anyone to come in. There isn't any doggy trashcans so there's dog waste all over the grass. The police are constantly ...driving around. I wouldn't even give them 1 star.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Poor Response/Maintenance/Management
June 14, 2021My door had jammed and the knob had stopped working and my roommate and I have been locked in the house for atleast 2 days now. Despite putting in 2 emergency requests, they still have yet to contact us. The maintenance response is poor and so is the management. Residents should have a valid emergency contact that will actually respond to the emergency.Review from Apartments.com
FROM A HU STUDENT
September 24, 2020The staff is extremely unprofessional once you finally sign a lease. Maintenance is slow(nice people tho) and the actually apartments are bug infested if u live by the trees.Honestly if you goto HU goto a apartment complex across the bridge(theirs pretty decent ones)..don't lease here just because of connivence because it isn't worth it.Review from Apartments.com
Not tenant friendly
July 2, 2017These apartments offer a drug induced drinking environment . Not to mention bed bugs as well as flooding on lower levels in certain sections . Instead of changing carpet it was dried and smelled of mold . Management is horrible when it comes to requests or repairs . Not a safe environment as anyone is able to get into gate . Which is the cause of issues as well as drug dealing .Review from Apartments.com
5 stars
October 11, 2015I would rate my apartment 5 stars because it's nice, close to campus and every time I get locked out of my bathroom someone immediately comes to help.Review from Apartments.com
Paying for proximity
August 29, 2015This is a great residence for students who are attending hampton university. Since its right next to the campus and that allows you to be extremely close to it. However if you have a family and are thinking of moving here i wouldnt because there is alot if noise during the night outside since its students. The aprtments inside are pretty decent there may be some problems but if you tell the leasing office they will fix it as soon as possibleReview from Apartments.com
Spacious but loud
August 23, 2015I enjoyed the location as a college student&the space of a full kitchen, in house laundry, large living room, & 2 bathrooms but it's super noisy! The walls are thin& the college kids are loud (I'm not a graduate)The finishes are cheap though my counters stain soooo easilyReview from Apartments.com
The Apartments
July 22, 2015I don't live out there but since I been there and know people that live there they are very spacious and nice sizes.Review from Apartments.com
Could be better much better
July 9, 2014The Complex is one of the worst but not horrible. All in all its a roof over your head. This location is perfect if you attend the University and your looking for convenience. Being right across the street for a University the noise is expected and not a major problem. The maintenance is very slow and is not available around the clock for emergencies. The amenities given are not always guaranteed to work and are a very dated. the counter tops and cabinets in both the kitchen and bathrooms are ...very old and in major need of renovation. The staff is very relaxed almost unprofessional in regards to customer service. It's your job as a resident to inquire about any updates or modifications. If you want your issue taken care of it's best to go in to the office early and get everything in writing(as you should with anything) and hold them to any agreements made. The apartments are spacious in every room, at first glance this is an okay place to live for college students and young adults but not much of a family-friendly complex.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
