    Hector the new manger is absolutely amazing! He took my friend and I on a tour of the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments and I just have to say he was such a wonderful person. You can tell he truly cares about this community and is passionate about what he does. The apartments are absolutely stunning with their old charm and historic vibe. Thank you Hector!

  • Car thief paradise

    Do not move in They advertise a gated community but leave it open all the time. My vehicle has been stolen and after it was recovered it was broken into. They do not care to work with residence feeling unsafe and targeted.

    I went through a hard time recently. Lost my job and everything. Was falling behind on everything and the office staff went above and beyond to help me out with whatever they could. For that I am so very thankful. Great community to live in everyone is very friendly and get get that hello neighbor vibe. Maintenance is always quick to respond.

  • Where do I even begin...

    February 21, 2021
    I've lived in two units. The first unit was infested with roaches and they moved me to another unit (with a higher rent). I was told by a neighbor that I was probably the 3rd or 4th tenant in that unit within the past year. Did they know about the roach infestation? Probably. The apartment complex will come back and say that they did everything they could to resolve the issue, which is asking pest control (which I already pay for) to come by and spritz and leave. They fumigated the unit, but ...
    when you're dealing with a building infestation, that does nothing. A proactive step would have been moving me free of charge and paying for movers. Instead, I had to resort to asking friends and shelling out my own money for THEIR mistake. I also had to pay another deposit that was eventually credited back to me, but ... another stressful step in a move that could have been prevented with better customer service. After moving to the 2nd unit, the heat/power for the entire building went out on Wednesday, 2/10. WE ARE STILL WITHOUT POWER. I've called and left emails, and all of them have gone without a response except for the one phone call where I was told they're "working on it" and another where I was told the "poor electrician was there for over ten hours the other day"! They should have been updating us every single day. Instead, my neighbors and I have resorted to driving and checking on our units ourselves, just to make sure it's not submerged in water. Yes, we are all dealing with the effects of this winter storm, but it's your JOB to support your residents. YOU signed up for this job. Your residents should NEVER have to hunt you down about answers and timelines for THEIR HOMES. When I had come into the office to ask if I could work from their office, I was met with hesitance and then was told to "wait a bit" and then see if the power was restored. He said they would "call me back in a half hour" to tell me if they had an empty unit with power for me to use. They never even called. 45 minutes later, I walked over there and basically forced them to give me an empty unit just so I could get some work done. Unbelievable — I shouldn't even have to ASK to be accommodated. They should have been OFFERING ME some kind of relief. Their customer service is truly some of their worst I've seen. "Well, we've just never had to deal with this before" is NOT an excuse — you adapt and you rise to the occasion and you DO YOUR JOB.

Management and maintenance team have always been proactive addressing any pest related issues, we routinely treat our units (vacant or not) as a preventative measure. We are very sorry to hear about your vehicle, but some things happen that are out of our control. We always advice to all of our residents if they see any suspicious activity, to please alert the authorities immediately. We wish we could guarantee the security of our residents, but unfortunately that is not something we can promise. It was unfortunate you were affected by the power outage; however, we would like to point out that we went to the extend of hiring a private electrical company to restore power safely and promptly. We constantly communicated with all residents affected and offered accommodations for those unable to reside in their homes for the prolonged period of time and ...
      credited back the days. Unfortunately, the winter storms placed a major challenge for us in resolving the electrical issue faster. Our staff would have loved being on-site on a daily basis. However, this was not possible due to the road conditions in which we did not want to put our employees at risk.     These places are not only roach infested but the staff is lazy and only the minimum is done. Their “extreme make over” is just throwing another coat of paint on everything and buying some cheap new appliances. All of the windows and door and cabinet hinges are covered in paint. The floors are so bad. Huge scrapes and major discoloration. Complaints about violations go without action. As soon as my lease is up I’m out. Maybe before if I can.

    Called this morning to find out the availability on the apartment listed on this site. Spoke to a lady named Martha and she told me that a 1st floor apartment was still available. I actually went to get the money orders that were needed and the paperwork I needed and got to the office and waited for an hour since they were out to lunch. When Martha and another lady got there, the second lady told me that Martha made a mistake and gave me the wrong information. That they had rented that apartment ...

    I love virginia manor, it's a great place to live. The neighborhood is really quiet and it's less than then minutes away from the bishop arts district. I love the layoutof the grounds, lots of trees and greenery. Washer and dryer on site though not always working....but still rather convenient. The front office is nice, the only thing is they don't have visitor parking and you have to get a guest pass for your company and they expire. Other than a couple negatives, I would definitely recommend ...
