Some Good, Some Bad
April 13, 2018We stayed here two months at the end of 2017. There is a lot to like: the staff are friendly and hard-working, the location is close to parks and stores, there are beautiful trees and ample play areas for children. Sadly for us, this is not a place for people with respiratory issues. I have an illness that makes me very sensitive to mold, and our apartment became unlivable so that we had to break our lease. We were told by staff that the problem was likely due to our own belongings being moldy, ...but we knew that was not the case as we are extra careful due to my illness. We have now lived in a different apartment for four months with no problems with all our old stuff. We were disappointed that staff would not take more responsibility to determine if the apartment had any water damage. Also, with two young children, we were unhappy with the high level of cigarette smoke near our windows. There is a ten foot buffer zone, but smoke travels that distance easily and any day we opened our second-story window would result in a smoky apartment. Other apartments in the area were moving to a campus-wide smoking ban, and Hathaway had not (at our time of living there). This may have resulted in more smokers moving to Hathaway Court (I don't blame them, as I would if I smoked). If you are not sensitive to smoke or mold, this is a great place to live. We were sad to go. But while the staff were very friendly they would not take our serious need with any greater care than a brief look around the apartment to say they could not see or smell any problem. For those with mold sickness, we know mold is often invisible and has no smell. We had to pay the lease break fee as well as find a new place to live while treating the effects of the mold damage to my neurological system. We therefore cannot fully recommend this complex.Property Manager Responded
April 27, 2018We are very sad that you had to leave our community, and that we have not earned your recommendation in this review. We appreciate your kind words about the friendliness of our team and the beauty and convenience of our location, and we're glad that these things added some enjoyment to your brief stay. Our manager and maintenance manager had conducted a thorough investigation of these issues, and unfortunately did not find any evidence of moisture damage in your home. We try to be as transparent as possible regarding our smoke free housing, and information regarding our policies can be found in our marketing sources, application and our lease. We wish that our community had better met your needs, but we're glad to see that you've found a new home and we wish you nothing but happiness for your future.

I have never lived in a better place.
January 29, 2018I have now lived here for around 8 months now and I have no desire to leave. This place is awesome. Its quite, the staff is wonderful and they take care of any issues you have right away. I do not have one complaint about living here and I can say that is the first time I have been able to say that in an apartment. The neighborhood is nice, quiet, and clean. You are so close to everything as well. I hope to be here for a very long time :)Property Manager Responded

Love This Place
July 20, 2015just moved in. Perfect place for my family. High School is right across the street and so many fun things to do nearby in this town. My kids will enjoy the pool along with the theatre room. I am very excited to be living here with my family.Review from Apartments.com
