Renters Reviews and Ratings
I’d give them a 0/5 if possible
April 16, 2022They don’t give enough parking for any tenants/ homeowners with more than one vehicle nor do they give any guests spots to park. You end up parking at the bottom next to the train station, which runs out of parking. They won’t let you park in the spaces at the top even though they actively tell tenants/homeowners they can buy a parking pass for a spot (they literally will not sell you one after the fact). Worst place to live/visit. Not worth the money.Review from Apartments.com
Renter Beware-Don't Be Fooled By The Cheap Rents and the Sq. Footage
November 4, 20191. You'll never get a full night's sleep with the blasting of the train's airhorn at all hours of the evening/morning 2. Your guests will never get a parking spot as they are taken by residents (sometimes 2 guest spots used by residents who have 3 or more cars.)Mgt. is friendly with certain folks and looks the other way. 3. BBQ Grills are not allowed, unless you are living rent free as an employee and keep your grill right in front of your apt. Other people have followed suit, so you might as ...well not abide by any regulations as there are obvious double standards, everyone is equal but some people are more equal than others:) 4. HVAC systems not working properly, most are at the end of their useful life and you'll end up buying portable a/c units (you are not allowed to have window units.) 5. If you are a smoker, you'll have no problems as there are many of you. If you are a non-smoker and don't like smoke coming into your unit, you are out of luck and will either have to leave or learn to enjoy the second-hand smoke. 6. If you like the sound of loud motorcycles revving and those sleek but loud racing bikes, you are in luck as there is a group of about 8 'enthusiasts' who will make sure you can hear them as they ride early on Sat and Sun mornings.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Maintenance and Construction issues
December 29, 2017There is one maintenance person for the entire complex. This is a Kaplan management issue since it has been this way for at least 2 years. Due to this, the response time to issues can be weeks to months. Snow removal this year has been a laughable matter. They began snow removal at 1am with leaf blowers when the storm started around 9am the previous morning. The next storm they started at 4am with leaf blowers. The management office is rude and no responsive as well. If you have an issue they ...are not willing to assist. However, if you park in overflow parking for a few days, you will receive threats on a daily basis to move the vehicle. The construction is also lackluster. The houses are uneven, walls are warped, doors fall off the hinges, and the heating/AC system needs a complete overhaul (in the winter, zero heat will get to the basement, while it will be 100 degrees on the top floor). They also don't mention the train when you first move in. It runs 5am-1230a M-F (every 15-30 minutes in the morning and evening). Renter beware. The cost is the only benefit. The sq footage may seem great as well, but it is technically 4 levels so all rooms are small and narrow.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
