Convenient Location, Reasonable Prices, Nice Apartments, Great Management!
July 28, 2021I am currently renting a 2 bedroom apartment in this apartment complex…and I love it! The price is very reasonable for the local rental market for the square footage and features that you get for these apartments. It’s is incredibly convenient for neighborhood shopping as well as the Strip, Belden Villiage, highway commuting via I77. The Akron Canton Airport is less 10 minutes away. The apartments themselves are comfortable…spacious with nice amenities for the price…fireplace, dishwasher, ...garbage disposal, extra storage space on the ground floor, ample kitchen storage, balcony, window air conditioning and an included garage unit with remote opening. Unfortunately, the apartments themselves do not have laundry/dryer hookups, but there are 2 other decent laundry options. There is a laundry room within the complex in one of the apartment buildings for residential use. Additionally, there is a very nice 24 hour coin operated laundry in the adjacent shopping center, within sight of many of the complex’s units. The property management team at Westgate Management is very kind. Megan, Leslie, and Kristine are very easy to work with and do what they can to help resolve concerns. It’s obvious that they care about the residents they work with. Even though these apartments were built in the ‘80’s they are very well maintained. The maintenance staff are kind and very responsive, making sure that the property is safe, clean and in good working order. Repairs are prompt and well done. If there’s any small drawback at all there is no online portal for residential management or an online payment system. Payment is only by cash (in office) or by check (in office or by mail). I consider this a tiny concession compared to everything else that the apartment complex offers. Lastly, Verizon cellular coverage is excellent and television antenna reception is decent, at least from my apartment’s location. Would I recommend this complex? Unquestioningly. Small but functional
July 25, 2015I moved in to this apartment when I got married. It is a one bedroom and has a nice layout but the appliances and cupboards look outdated. The maintenance person recently replaced our dishwasher though, since our old one was dripping rust on our dishes. They take good care of the building and the lawn. The biggest drawback is that there aren't washer/dryer hookups in the individual apartments, but there is a laundry facility in one of the buildings and a laundro-mat within walking distance.Review from Apartments.com
