Roaches! Dumpster fires! Break ins! Rude property mgmt!
July 17, 2023Unless you hear that there's a new property management service or that things have drastically improved, LOOK ELSEWHERE. I wish I could break my lease for reasons listed in the headline and so much more.Review from Apartments.com
Pests, Awful Management, Dilapitated Building. DO NOT RENT.
June 14, 2023As others have said, this building has had a persistent roach problem for MONTHS and the owners are so cheap about it. Kicked everyone out of the building for a "spray treatment" which amounted to a bunch of dudes laying traps and spritzing some stuff when the entire building should have been fumigated. Then guess what? The roaches never left! Management are wildly unprofessional, don't address maintenance issues (lots of people have heat that doesn't work, washers/dryers that are broken for ...months, mail frequently getting stolen because of old mailbox design AND REFUSING TO FIX THE FRONT DOORS LOCKS, the list goes on), and the rent is absolutely insane price for what little you get. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. Go look up the address in the City of Seattle - there are TONS of violations and complaints filed.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Security not taken seriously, mail stolen regularly
June 14, 2023The mail often is stolen from the main room and the mailboxes have been broken into, with mail being taken directly from the boxes. Requests to replace it have been denied. The management and ownership are incredibly lax, cheap and don't appear to care about the safety or quality of apartments they are providing.Review from Apartments.com
Roaches!
June 11, 2023If I had known there were roaches infesting the building, I wouldn’t have moved here! The recent pest control procedure in our apartments was mishandled and plagued with oversights. Many of us weren't told about the pests during our home tours and communication with the property management before signing our leases.Review from Apartments.com
Just Don't
June 12, 2023DILAPIDATED, ROACH INFESTED AND NEGLECTED. Owners are insanely cheap and refuse to pay for the most basic of repairs. The building is run by an incompetent property management company that can't be bothered to return emails or meet residents at agreed upon times. 1. Full building cockroach infestation - ongoing. Owners refuse to treat the building appropriately. Their feigned attempts at pretending to care resulted in residents being ousted from their homes for longer than were told, with zero ...compensation or accommodations. Bait and traps were left in units that are toxic to pets without any notification to residents. 2. The mailboxes were so broken and unusable the post office couldn't deliver mail for 3 weeks and asked the owners to replace them. Owners instead did a careless bandaid repair which has resulted in mailbox breakins and theft on a regular basis. 3. Broken essential appliances like heaters, washers, & dryers take *months* to get any sort of resolution. They "replace" broken washers/dryers with old appliances from vacant units in the building, which then turn around and break again in a matter of weeks. Repeated maintenance tickets are useless to provide any help. 4. Water, sewer, & garbage are included in the rent. Residents were threatened with a building-wide water shut-off notice from the city because of the owners/property management company not paying the bill for 3+ months. 5. Residents asked for a meeting with owners and property mgmt to discuss concerns and work towards a resolution. Residents were denied the request and told "owners don't meet with tenants".Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Cockroaches
June 11, 2023This building has cochroaches! Knowing that, no one should move here. Management is cheap and doesn't want to take care of the problem. Also, security is a joke, mailboxes are always getting broken into. Can't wait to move away. Don't live here!Review from Apartments.com
Location's great, building's okay.
February 7, 2023The location is absolutely great. Close to everything we love. However, our heater constantly turns off even after requesting maintenance several times. Theft from the mail boxes has prevented us from receiving mail properly. If those were resolved, things would be much better.Review from Apartments.com
Great building, great location
September 14, 2015This a beautiful building in a great part of the city. It's a 5 minute walk from a main street with tons of restaurants and shops. There are several grocery stores nearby and it's also close to bus stops. Neighbors are respectful and the building is well maintained. Highly recommend!Review from Apartments.com
Stella Apartments
September 9, 2015I have been living in the Stella Apartments for about 5 months now and have had a great experience thus far. I have a 2bed/1bath unit fresh off of a brand new remodel and everything in the apartment looks great. The rent is crazy affordable for our location, with easy access to i5 and i90, as well well as walking distance to most anywhere in Capitol Hill. Management is incredibly responsive and accommodating when it comes to questions and maintenance. No complaints so far, keep it up Stella!Review from Apartments.com
