August 4, 2015My partner and I moved into our apartment a little less than a year ago. The management company is refurbishing apartments as they come up for lease. Ours has a great open layout with two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is brand new with stainless steel appliances. The floors are brand new hardwood. There are also ceiling fans in all the rooms, which allow us to run our AC unit less. The subway is one block away and so are most amenities (grocery, pharmacy, coffee, etc.). It is ...an elevator building. Laundry is in the basement. Pets are allowed. The other tenants are pleasant and friendly. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, low-key, and family friendly as well. This building is across the street from the oldest house in Manhattan, The Morris-Jumel Mansion, and has a wonderful view of the mansion and surrounding park.
