Silver Spring Super Spot to Stay!
July 21, 2015I simply love my apartment! It is spacious, quiet, with that olden charm that all of us dream of! Hardwood floors, big closet, and windows on the world ...need I say more? Well, yes I do actually. I am blessed beyond measure to have an actual parking spot for my ol' betsy (something of a rarity in this urban jungle). I am also blessed with sweet, if somewhat quirky neighbors (always willing to sign for a package for me, even if they happen to be in the middle of a loud, howling/hooting ..."meditating" session). They are also very "green" neighbors, supporting both the recycling of all sorts of garbage, and the burning of a different type of refuse to ensure proper conversion to organic, inhalable material. The AC/heat in the building is a bit of a paradox, but hey who doesn't love a good challenge, or in this case a guessing game of just how sweltering hot or ice cold your apartment will be when you get home! Lastly, the neighborhood is fantastic; walking distance to great stores, cafes, restaurants, grocers, and about 600 different Ethiopian spots (be sure to bring your exotic taste buds). The diverse potpourri of cultures and cuisines that cohabitate in Silver Spring is one of the reasons I moved here; my awesome apartment is why I will be staying.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
