Wonderful space for families
July 23, 2024We really enjoyed our time here. This is more than a commercial rental - it is a community and if you treat it as such you get all the benefits - friendly staff, beautiful playground, quick maintenance, etc. Absolutely no complaints.Property Manager Responded

Rude and condescending management
February 9, 2024Management yelled at a friend who went in asking for policy changes, such as lifting the policy that allows management to take personal property stored outside your apartment (such as childrens’ toys, shoes, etc.) and then charge you a fee. Management disposes of the property after a period as well. My wife was going for a walk with our daughters and left our stroller outside our door (with her jacket, purse, etc.) for 10 minutes and they took it and did not charge us, but it was an incredibly ...unpleasant interaction because of the manager’s condescension and immaturity. We thought it was stolen (bikes have been from bike racks before). Additionally, I very much get the idea, from the language and tone used in their in-person and email communications, that management views themselves as “against” the residents and as victims of their circumstance. Finally, the Landings has had approximately 6 different building managers in the 2.5 years my family has lived here and, unfortunately, the current managers have been here the longest. It is worth noting that Corvias is the management company and not Notre Dame. Thus, the fault is not with Notre Dame.Property Manager Responded

Run by a developer—not Notre Dame
July 9, 2022This place is horrible and I would not recommend that anyone live there. First of all, they bill themselves as being ND university housing, but they are actually managed by an outside developer, which means that if you run into any snags the university cannot help you at all and you are dealing with the huge developer Corvais, whose interests lie with making money, not on students experience. The staff is generally unreachable. After signing a lease I have been calling and emailing every day for ...two weeks with no response. I finally got a very brief and unapologetic email that didn’t answer my questions. They claim they are in the office 9-12noon (though business hours on their website are 9-5) but I’ve called every day between 9-12 for two weeks and no one answers their phone. Everything that I was told before signing the lease seems to have been false. I can’t even get information on when the shuttle runs or when I can pick up my keys to move in. Plus, they don’t even allow you to have items shipped to the building before you’ve arrived (even if it’s after your lease has started!), which means I can’t even arrange to have my bed shipped and I’ll have nothing to sleep on when I get there. All in all, this is a business, NOT a university service, and they are completely unreachable, unreliable and untrustworthy. I would not recommend them.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Ideal Living Space
July 7, 2021I seriously lucked out with this apartment. The complex was built in 2020, so all of the appliances are new and clean. All residents are ND grad students with families, so everyone is considerate and kind. In a safe neighborhood. Staff and maintenance are prompt and considerate. On the edge of campus. Seriously could not recommend this place enough.Review from Apartments.com
