I loved it here!
July 8, 2024I loved living here it was a great first apartment for me and my fiance to move in together. It had some minor inconveniences like the closet being small or the washer being kind of cheap but its such a great deal for the price. Especially for where it is, Mckinney is growing so quickly. I worked at Target and I was able to afford this on $15 an hour. I used to live in Denton at a college apartment where I had to take my trash out and walk downstairs for laundry so having an in unit washer dryer ...and being able to just set out my trash at night felt like a luxury! Worst apartments / management
July 31, 2019If you're looking for an apartment DO NOT MOVE HERE. I lived here for only a year.. within that year I can't even tell you how many different employees I dealt w in the office. Anytime I had an issue their excuse was always "well this was done/happened before I worked here." horrible customer service & they do not care about their residents. I had ROACHES the whole year I lived there. Every single time I came to talk to someone about it they told me "well after they spray the roaches come out to ...die." BUT THEY WEREN'T DYING. They never offered any other solutions or seemed to care. The apartment was very poorly cleaned at my move in there was BLACK DOG HAIR PAINTED INTO THE WALLS. There was still pee still on the toilet seats & bottom of the toilets. At my move in date apparently the whole staff decide to quit so there was only one person working in the office. She failed to give me the proper papers to fill out at move in for prior damages to the apartment.. With the turnover rate in the office they misplaced my paper work for my service animal & called me leaving a rude message while I was at work demanding I bring the paperwork immediately or it would be a lease violation. I had to leave & miss work that day. They are super unprofessional. Then to top it all off, they FAILED to send me my final bill after move out.. but did not hesitate to put a $800 charge on my credit without trying to reach out to me at all. They had my forwarding address, phone number, & email BUT FAILED TO CONTACT ME. Worst property, staff, management, & not to forget corporate company I have ever dealt with. I went into the office as soon as I noticed the charge because of course they failed to answer the phone.. I asked to speak to a manager & the leasing agent said she could help me, she couldn't. Then she proceeded to tell me she COULDN'T give me corporates number. Finally the ASSISTANT manager called me in to talk, even though I asked to speak w the property manager who was in fact in the office but wouldn't talk to me. Both the leasing agent & assistant manager told me "unfortunately this was done before I worked here." LOL OF COURSE. Excuse after excuse. Then she said "all you need to do is call the debt collector & pay it in full to get it off your credit. It is now with a collector so it is out of our hands." & was very hesitant to give me corporates number. Corporate is a whole other story. But I advise you to stay away from West Creek Ranch. January 30, 2018The management went from poor to What kind of management did you hire? (Please Explain). They say they are doing a multi-million dollar renovation (actually its more like hey hold my beer and let me show you kind of renovation). The contractor they hired to paint building didnt finish painting (white spots all over the apartment complex. The kids continue to trash the sidewalks with food rapers, Dog poop on the sidewalks, No parking for residents. The new office manager is terrible can not do ...simple arithmetic and give false info. Kids poop in the pool. Continues to have Roach problems. Raised my rent and the apartment across from mine has been vacant for over a year yet they still raise my rent. Oh how about the Police. Horrible place!
October 14, 2017The kids that live here play in the road and purposely try to jump infront of your vehicle. I had my car illegally towed when I got a parking permit/sticker for my vehicle. The residents who do live there but do not have a tag take all the visitors spots so that means I cannot have my travel nurse park here when she here for 2 hours a day to help me. Trash every where and the dumpster is always full and the trash service doesn't pick up the garbage. Then there's drug deals everywhere!Property Manager Responded

Will not live here again, not recently renovated
September 26, 2017Had a cockroach problem in my apartment for 6 months they have not fixed. The dishwasher broke leaks water and they have not fixed it. Not enough parking space for the residents who live there. Expensive for a place that is constantly trashed by it residents and managment. Trash on walkways, in the grass, etc... cops show up atleast once month. TOW CARS even with TAGS they give you. Poorly managed complex. Dog poop everywhere and the management doesn't clean anything. I would not give any stars ...if I could. Needs new management!Property Manager Responded

August 12, 2015The apartment we live in doesn't have a pantry, so we are having to sacrifice kitchen cabinet space for food and STILL have plastic tubs to store food in my kitchen area.. But, is big enough for me, my husband and our 2 kids. The pool has 2 entry gates, one is ALWAYS locked, which I dont understand why. Maintenance is prompt. The complex is pet friendly and for dogs, has a dog park and bag stations to pick up their business at just about every corner. It is appealing to kids as well with a ...park/playground. Cozy little place with a great staff, recently renovated
August 22, 2015I've been living here for almost 2.5 years. Anytime I've ever had an issue, it was fixed promptly! I love the staff here. Everyone is nice and super polite. The pool area is fun. They have a big patio with seating and a nice grill from family events or group parties. There's a dog park for your furry friends. Covered parking is available and they just started a new thing where you can pay to have a covered space reserved for only you. You can't beat the location. It's not even a quarter mile from ...Hwy 75 and McKinney has so much to offer.
