May 23, 2024Office is understaffed and so many property problems. Dumpsters always over flowed and never enough space daily. Terrible response to maintenance issues with HVAC! Bill was over $550 in January bc of their equipment issues. Roaches, and other huge bayou bugs constantly in your home.Review from Apartments.com
Poor management and no credibility
November 13, 2023I have been staying at the Latitude for over 3 months and I am not thrilled about the management. I have experienced a roach infestation, a missing washer, a wrongful towing, multiple delayed maintenances and a canceled maintenance during my stay so far. My first unit was infested with roaches. After repeatedly requesting for pest control and failing to remove the roaches, I intended to breach the lease and had to go in to the office and ask for their response. They relocated me to a better unit ...at the same price, but when I ask for moving fee compensation they only gave a verbal promise to “look into it”. I never heard back from them on the topic. Before I moved into the second unit, the leasing manager promised to have the washer installed before the move in; the installation was delayed multiple times and the office was very hard to reach through emails and calls. I had to go in the office multiple times again to communicate on the matter. The washer wasn’t installed until almost 2 months after I moved into the second unit. During the move, my parking location was re-assigned, but the leasing office made a mistake and the lot was still open. A month ago my lot was double leased out and my car was towed as a result. I spent 2 hours locating and retrieving my car. The leasing office agreed to pay for my Uber and towing fee but refused to compensate for my lost work time. The office claimed that since the parking wasn’t assigned properly in the first place, I wasn't charged for the parking and the lack of charge would be my compensation. One manager said she has never compensated for lost time for all the years she had worked at the office, which makes it seem like wrongful towing is a common occurrence at this property. They VERBALLY promised me to CONSIDER waiving my parking fee for a couple months. (Which did not happen of course) A couple weeks ago I filed a maintenance request for massively chipped paint in the bath tub. The management sent a waiver for the resurfacing. In the waiver, the management claims that I should put away any valuables and clear the work area, but they did not specify the work time. I asked them for the work time but my email was not responded and the maintenance request was closed without any action on my part. Overall, this property is understaffed and poorly managed. The office is hard to reach through emails or calls and any verbal promise will not be taken seriously.Property Manager Responded

Stay Away
March 23, 2023This place is horrible it is trash, no matter how much to clean there are always roaches, no on picks up after their dogs, trash everywhere, people with drop cigarette buds in front of your door and on your patio, the floors are warped, the roof leaks, appliances do not work, the office does nothing but give you lip service, you can put in a work order and/or go to the office and nothing will get fixed for months and months. Do not come here, find something else, save your money. Also when a bad ...review shows up an automatic message saying the manager would like to talk to you, its a lie don't believe it. Average At Best
January 4, 2023It’s ok. I really needed somewhere to stay on short notice so I moved in. After being here for 6 months I can say there is dog poop EVERYWHERE, the trash valet often do not pick up trash, and you are so close to your neighbors if they sneeze you can bless them. It is pretty quiet and the maintenance is fast. But they tack on surprise fees to the rent monthly and you can’t get ahold of someone on the phone in the leasing office. I did have roaches when I first moved in but they were gone after ...about a month of pest control. This place is ok if you only going to be here for a short time. Infested with cockroaches
July 23, 2022When I came to view an apartment, I didn't see a single cockroache. But when I moved in, the first thing I saw was a cockroache. I was so disappointed. They are everywhere in the kitchen. I can't cook because I don't want them to get to my food. I request a pest control, but it doesn't seem to help.Property Manager Responded

I don’t recommend !
March 21, 2022First the water is always going out. The gate is always broken and if you ever lose your key or get it stolen and it’s after hours they’ll make you call a lock smith.My tub knob keep falling after getting it fixed.Property Manager Responded

Do NOT move here! Not safe, healthy, or managed properly
September 1, 2020Since I’ve moved here, I have experienced 1. My car being damaged and broken into while in a car port that I pay for each month. 2. Constant lack of water because they turn it off at least 5 days out of every month for “repairs” 3. Slow response time for EMERGENCY maintenance requests such as my air conditioning going out (4 times) and plumbing issues 4. The foundation of my apartment is weak and I can feel the holes in it when I walk around 5. Leaks from the roof destroying my ceiling and ...walls 6. Out dated amenities that they fail to update or fix when broken 7. Worst management staff ever. Even after switching management, the staff in the leasing office is terrible. 8. General disregard of my living experience until it’s time to renew the lease You will not enjoy your living experience here. Do not move here.Property Manager Responded

Not Safe
August 11, 2020My husband's car was stolen within the first month of living here. The gates (the walk through and drive through) are always left open and unlocked. There used to be security but that did not last long. I've also had packages stolen. I don't feel very safe here.Property Manager Responded

Look Somewhere Else
June 29, 2020Although the new management is sprucing up the look of the apartments there are still other needs that need to be addressed. This apartment complex is disgusting. Trash gets piled up at the trash compacter and it can be a few days before something is done. Litter is constantly on the grounds. I don't bother using their trash valet because they are inconsistent, even with the new company. Sometimes it is the trash valet that makes the litter mess. Wasted monthly cost. There are a lot of ...complications with their plumbing and electricity. Some of the buildings has an issue with their sewage system. It can become backed up causing for the inability to flush toilets. If the issue isn't dealt with in a timely manner the sewage begins to leak onto sidewalks. Concerning electrical issues, they are slow to call in an electrician. Concerns for safety and electrical fires are very much prominent. I went over a month without adequate electricity. Every time a ticket was submitted maintenance would come and state the same thing. No changes were made. Wasps seem to love these apartments. I have never seen such an infestation. Multiple tenants have complained about this issue. While it may have been addressed there are still many wasps making it hard to walk to the car on some occasions. They need to change whoever they use for these exterminations because they are not effective. While there is new management there is a lot of things that need to be taken care of with this property. Disgusting and Unsafe
February 27, 2020Living in this complex was a huge mistake. In the year I lived there i experienced multiple roach infestations and a rat infestation. The final straw on moving out was when the man who tried to break in twice before was successful in breaking the window. In addition to this there’s multiple car break ins, and massive potholes, piles of trash everywhere. My room always smelled like weed from the neighbors and they also threw their cigarettes onto my porch from above. Nobody picks up dog poop and ...the apartment complex floods like crazy.
