Horrible
March 4, 2021Don't move there because of incompetent greedy management. There are tons of problems of all sorts: maintenance, noise, safety, etc. and whenever there is a problem you're on your own. There's absolutely nobody to help. They just don't care. The only thing they care about is your money. Noise is the worst issue of all, so if you like it quiet especially at night do yourself a favor and skip.Review from Apartments.com
I’m sorry I moved here.
March 2, 2021Walls/floors/ceilings are paper thin—you constantly hear your neighbors next door, across the hall and upstairs, plus people slamming their doors. Dog run squeezed in between 2 buildings so frequent loud barking. Hallways and elevators dirty; laundry room and garbage area gross. Security guards ineffective in stopping loud parties keeping you awake. Doormen nice but overburdened. Mgt raises the rent every year, but not qualify of life! They say “no fee” but allow brokers to advertise, so ...you end up paying brokers fee, which is expensive.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
horrible place--do not rent
June 19, 2019Walls are paper thin, you hear your neighbors conversations. Mgt does not enforce the rules--tenants have loud noisy parties, balconies used as ugly storerooms. Laundry room gross. Market rate rents go up drastically every year.Review from Apartments.com

October 19, 2018I like this complex but the maintenance department is incompetent. I've put out several requests through their online portal, called them several times for months about plumbing and closet issues and they have been totally unresponsive. I am really upset with the maintenance department.Review from Apartments.com
Cheese2000 unit 16 stories
June 13, 2018i have lived here for 10 years. Maintenance is terrible. Appliances break down, and, instead of replacing them with new ones, management only "refurbishes" them, so that they break down again shortly. If you don't care whether the dishwasher, refrigerator or air conditioning work, then maybe this place is for you.Review from Apartments.com
Unrealistic Rent Increases!!
March 7, 2018I would never recommend LT. The management are extremely rigid and will increase your rent by more than 10% once your lease is up.Review from Apartments.com
Went from great to TERRIBLE
August 22, 2015Upon moving into my building I was very impressed by the professionalism, helpfulness, and friendliness of my doormen. My neighbors were great and management was extremely effective. I'm not sure what happened, but suddenly the original office management were gone, and I immediately felt the difference in the quality of service and compassion toward tenants. Concerns were no longer dealt with right away and attitudes when calling were cold. Even our smiling doormen had become cynical and no ...longer felt valuable. But that's not even what immediately drove me out. After being there for two years, I saw a rodent run across my floor. I called the building management and was told that they would sign me up for the exterminators next visit. No urgency to address the problem whatsoever. The porter even offered to come check it out for me, and they didn't permit him to do so. So I decided to be a big girl, be patient and let them fix it. Well, to make a very long story shorter, they sent maintenance and the exterminator to my apartment at least 4 different times and the mice kept coming. We caught about 3 or 4, but it had gotten to the point where I literally saw one scale my wall and climb over the counter. My boyfriend saw one climb the curtain and walk curtain rod. There were droppings everywhere. Keep in mind that I lived on the 15th floor. You would think they would offer me another apartment. Nope. After emailing the management company on numerous occasions for months, they finally let me out of my lease and tried to charge me penalties (which I fought and won, thank God). So be wary of this place. I knew others who have lived there and didn't have any issues, and others who have and just dealt with it. I am traumatized by it all, to say the least.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Just what I needed
August 6, 2015I love my apartment in Harlem, NY with its great view overlooking the tops of green leafy trees and the historical skyline. Live DJ's blast Teddy P on the weekends from the local B-ball courts, and I watch the NY marathon runners and Macy's fireworks from my living room window. A step up from the lobby apartment that I attempted to brave as a native New Yorker, up until the homeless lady began to store her goods under my window and one day asked to borrow my shopping cart while speaking to me ...thru my kitchen window because that's how close I was to the street. True Story. Needless to say, I moved on up (and out) like the Jeffersons. Now I live in a 900 square ft, 1 bedroom apt.(in the same building) with a terrace and it's expensive like most in this city, but it's mine. I converse with neighbors, tip my doorman, and take turns blasting my music with my next door neighbor, who owns Saturday mornings for his Bob Marley speaker party. It's Harlem. And for 14 plus years, it's been my own.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

My Studio in Harlem
August 12, 2015When deciding to relocate to New York City a few years ago, there was one thing that I knew I needed--a relatively affordable place to live. I knew that I would live in Harlem. It's Harlem where I would often visit whenever I came to New York in the past. Harlem offers a great sense of multi-culturalism with the African-American community that serves as the base for the culture here. Luck would have it that I would find a beautiful, large sized studio that overlooks the upper western side of ...Manhattan. I can see as far north as the Washington Bridge that connects Manhattan to New Jersey. I can also see as far south as the Upper West side. The 12th floor apartment in which I live is located in Central Harlem. The building in which my apartment is located serves as the showcase building for all properties that comprise the housing complex where I live. This particular apartment building has a beautiful circular driveway that is adjacent to one of the more vibrant streets located in Harlem. There are doormen in all buildings in the complex, ready to assist tenants, as well as visitors. We have merchants, located in front of the building where I live, selling good produce. Also some of the merchants in the same location, play beautiful music during the day to provide a pleasant feeling of belonging to a vibrant community. I must admit that I found an ideal place to live in, where it's relatively difficult to find a New York-affordable apartment with such great amenities, and management. It also helps a lot that the nearest sources of public transportation--both subway and buses, are less than a block away from my apartment. Last, but not least, one famous New York Public Library--the Schomburg, is also adjacent to the subway stop that is near my apartment. I'm glad that I decided to live in the apartment that I've chosen, and as long as I live in New York City, there is no other apartment that I would rather have.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Lenox Terrace
August 6, 2015I have loved living here at Lenox Terrace. My husband and I are new tenants and maintenance has been very attentive and effective with our small requests. Our unit is completely renovated and our doorman greet us daily by name and with an open door. The complex is very dog friendly and the residents have such a broad range of age, race, and culture. It is a wonderful melting pot of so many beautiful people. Our entire process was quick and painless, from the application, to the move in. I ...would highly recommend living here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
