June 21, 2023Lived here for 14 months. I have advised everyone I know looking for apartments in the area to steer clear of this place. Staff was great in the beginning, but services declined quickly, though maintenance was decent and timely enough. However, there were repeated incidents where we needed to call the on-site cop and were either hung up on or the call was never answered. The walls and floors are INCREDIBLY thin. We learned the family who lived above us had been living there for months without ...paying rent. They consistently banged around blasting music until 4am, had domestic fights that involved screaming and the breaking of items, threw food onto the sidewalk, peed off the balcony onto our balcony while my roommate was sitting out there, and more. The front office did nothing about any of this. There is also sooo much trash thrown off balconies into the area in the back by the railroad tracks. Such an eyesore and no one was ever held accountable for it. Valet trash was also consistently not picked up, leaving the hallways smelling terrible. Overall, not a great place to live. No Showed BOTH Tours
July 7, 2022I was a potential resident of this community and had a tour scheduled for 11 AM virtual- no one showed. I sent an email and called multiple times - After multiple attempts, I finally got someone on the phone. The office manager told me the leasing agent's other tour went over so I was understanding and we rescheduled. The rescheduled tour was for 2:30 PM virtual, I was told I would get a call and no one ever called. I called the office three times as well as sent an email to see what was going on ...and no response. Still no responses to email and after their last no-show, I still have not been able to get anyone on the phone after 3 attempts now. I have responded this to corporate because my fear truly is, if it is this unprofessional at the beginning and nonreliant - What is the experience once you have paid them and are living in this community? Out of 7 other tours I had in the Atlanta area today, this was the only community that had such poor quality and disregard for consumer/resident.Property Manager Responded

horrible place to live
June 29, 2020If you live here, you WILL experience the following: - being woken by the train at early hours of the morning - walking through trash and pet waste in the hallways - seeing other people's cars/apartments broken into - overflowing dumpsters - driving 8-9 levels up in the garage to park - your car getting booted - your guests cars getting booted If you're unlucky (like me) you may have your own car broken into. Soooo Disappointed
July 10, 2019Please believe the reviews. When first moving into the community I was pleased (Been here 4 years). Now things are very different and sometimes inconvenience and it seems as if the front office really don’t care. I really tried to give this place a chance, now I am very disappointed. There is assigned parking which I thought was a good thing based on the Email they sent: but they assigned me on the 8th floor (BTW I stay on the 3rd Floor in the back of the complex). So now I have to drive all the ...way up to the 8th floor walk down 1 flight of stairs (not an elevator which is hot, and smells and not clean)to then get to the 7th floor then catch the elevator to the 4th floor walk ALL the way down to yet another elevator or stairs to take me 1 floor down to get to my residence which really sucks when getting groceries because I have heavy items and cannot pick them up. Not to mention the crime that has been going on here granted its better but it is very disturbing. Especially being a single female traveling that far to her car. The front office staff seem to not care, when going to the leasing office to speak with someone. The Agent just stared at me and said well we have reserved spaces for $75 a month. lol So wait you want me to pay $75 a month and when the lease is up you are going to increase my lease as well. No thank you. Did I mention that it took them 3 months for my maintenance request to complete? Please don't waste your time or money. I am not renewing my lease and I do not advise anyone to move here.Property Manager Responded

2019 Current resident- this place is unsafe
July 9, 2019Since I have lived here there have been several robberies as well as a MURDER. In an effort to make things ‘safer’ management has moved the majority of residents to park on the roof, via assigned parking, further exposing us to an unsafe environment. Parking sucks, elevator smells, the dog park is absolutely wrecked. I strongly urge you to not sign a lease and get stuck in this terrible place! AVOID! AVOID!! AVOID!!!
May 5, 2019AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! We ignored the reviews and it turned out to be exactly as everyone said. Parking is horrible. Visitors have to get a visitors pass during office hours or with security (who is barely around) then drive all the way up to the 9th floor (I'm on the ground floor so this is very inconvenient). They're trying to change the parking situation now, but I doubt it will make anything better. Security, is terrible!!! One of the gates has been broken since we moved in Aug. '18. Someone ...is always trying to tailgate and breaking the bars. Oh and get used to weekly emails about a car being broken into or someone being robbed in parking garage. A month ago, we found TERMITES (yes, termites!) all over the living room. There were hundreds, maybe thousands, of dead bugs coming out of the windows and near the patio door. We went to management and she was very casual about the situation saying they come around this time every year. Then why not have preventative/regular treatment for this issue?!?!? The issue is still not resolved and we still have a lot of dead bugs just sitting in the living area even after Andrea (the manager) said she'd have someone clean them up. Long story short, we are breaking our lease and moving ASAP. Save your sanity and money. This place is not worth the hassle. Management does not care about anything but getting your money. Frequent break ins / guest's cars booted
April 16, 2019This place is very poorly managed. I could provide a long litany of problems, but the two worst are crime and parking. Currently, your guests are not allowed to park on the property unless they display a parking pass on their dash which lists the residents name, address, and phone number. If they arrive after the office closes, they have to hope they can find a security guard to issue them a pass, or else they have to leave or risk getting booted. The security guard is almost never there ...when you need him. They will soon be changing the policy to one where the residents have to pay a substantial fee for the privilege of a guest parking spot. No thank you. Presumably, this is all being done in order to reduce crime, yet my car was just broken into last week while parked in the garage (along with several others). Needless to say, I'm out of here. POORLY MAINTAINED!
September 23, 2018I have lived at this property for a very long time 10 years to be exact so I don’t take any pleasure in informing people of what this property has become, but MAA needs to be called out for the neglect. This property should be amazing with all the premiere amenity space and it’s location but it is so poorly managed that I feel like I live in the hood. I WILL NOT be renewing my lease and I’ll tell and show you why! 1). Every adult knows rent is due on the 1st, yet management feels like they ...need to remind resident repeatedly by email, newsletters posted on property and a banner at the exit gate EVERY MONTH. If they don’t pay evict them, or better yet be more selective with tenants. Don’t constantly insult the intelligence of the many professionals on property. 2). It’s filthy! Dirty green pools, trash in the stairwell, dirty halls, dirty gym? Everyone in the office steps over the filth like it’s not there. So now I live in filth and I’m harassed about rent. 3). Broken elevators still not repaired. 4). Rude and poorly informed staff, not only do they have nasty attitudes when you bring up issues, they don’t EVER address them! They also have a habit of spreading rumors about residents, after living here for so long I happen to have my “ear to the street” and have heard disparaging comments made by staff about residents on numerous occasions. 5). Nasty residents, they don’t clean up after themselves or their pets. There is constantly dog pee in the hallways and elevators. The back buildings always smell like weed. 6). With all the “security” we have a bunch of breakins. I came home to my door kicked in and 20,000 dollars worth of possessions gone. And sadly that’s not my biggest concern with this community. I understand that things like breakins happen in even the best places so I can’t be mad about a random occurrence but I was increadiably disappointed by how they handled us and the situation after!!! The current living conditions at Allure at Brookwood are unacceptable. This property was so much nicer when Archstone managed it. MAA/Post has run this property into the ground! Great Complex
September 10, 2015The complex is in a great neighborhood, with great prices and spacious floor plans. The leasing staff fumbled my paperwork a bit, which was kind of frustrating, but eventually worked everything out.Review from Apartments.com
