Extremely Poor Management
April 17, 2020I did not want to resort to this, but here I am. Management here is terrible. It was terrible when I lived here last year and hasn’t changed and is still terrible. I had numerous issues when I lived here. First, security issues that were never addressed properly. People were breaking into my car, and my mail box. All the complex offered to do was change my mail box locks, which the lock was being picked, so a lot of good that did. They have no type of security cameras and the gates are a joke. ...People give out the gate code. I then had A/C issues and it started to leak into my bathroom ceiling and cause black mold to grow. I had to ask management multiple times to fix the issues and they told me there wasn’t black mold present, which was a lie. This is when I decided to pay to break my lease. Now almost a year later I apply to get an apartment and am being denied because of alleged month of rent I didn’t pay in the first few months I lived at this complex. I was told I had a debt in collections, again a lie. I called the collections agency and they have no account for me or my co-signer. I then call the new management to prove false claims have been made against my rental history and they are refusing to work with me on settling this. They are holding my rental history hostage until I pay in full on a false claim. I am going to end up homeless because I am not able to rent another place until we come to an agreement and they are completely unwilling to compromise even tho I have proved these claims are false. The management here is money hungry and cares nothing about people’s lively hood.Property Manager Responded

Quiet and a great price but...
March 29, 2016I've lived in Madison for about 6 months. I came in after the renovation however, my apartment is one of the few without a w/d in unit which is a little frustrating. Maintenance is usually quick but it did a month to get my hot water working which in the summer isn't so bad but still something that is a little jarring especially upon first move in. The past few months it has gotten worse. I don't know if it is the caliber of people moving in but now there is garbage and pet waste everywhere!! The ...gates are usually malfunctioning which as a single female lends itself to some discomfort. My biggest issue is the fact that it took 6 months to get my number entered into the system and now ( one of the main reasons I chose the place) the fitness center is office hours only; not to big of a deal if you don't have a job but for those of us who work it is really frustrating and one of the reasons I may look for other places after my lease is up. Overall, management does an adequate job but could definitely use some improvement in getting things addressed in a timely manner, especially if those things are offered as amenities to residents.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Quaint and Retro
August 22, 2015I've lived here for about 6 Months the entire complex was updated fresh with stainless steel appliances washers/dryers in units and and marble tops throughout. I have the smallest unit its about $80.00 over priced for the sq. footage and ,really, really, really short on storage space but I really like it. They have covered parking for 1 vehicle per renter and do work hard to enforce parking. Maintenance does respond quickly to issues but sometimes need to return multiple times to fully address ...issues properly which can at times be annoying. I live over the pool residences are respectful for the most part and can honestly say that all and all its pretty quite . Very pet friendly and allot of pets in the complex the units are really contemporary and very, very nice. mostly college students and young professionals 30 somethings. Madison is the best
August 15, 2015I've been here at Madison for a few months and love it. Everything works well, no bugs, always have my parking space, pool is great in the summer, and anytime I've had anything go wrong, someone is out to fix it that day.
