    I just moved here with my miniture Datshun and we love the dog park and the lay out. Everyone, here is AMAZING!! Our apartment was brand new and love all the storage. I know some people will post horrible reviews but i was actually a witness to how some residents can be so rude and mis-treat the staff for no reason. I been here just a few month and i can see how people can still act with such anger. I just really makes you think -How miserable they are in their own life that their misery is ...
    pouring out in other avenues in their daily lives. I can honestly say David, and the entire leasing management team is great.!!! It is my opinion that if you did something and it didnt go your way you will lash back as an act of anger. Just remember KARMA!!! Namaste!!! Love, Peace and Happiness .....   • Worst of the worst

    I was going to let this go and not say anything. However, I believe if you want to pay your hard earned money on a place to stay it must be worth it. These apartments are completely out of code and has the most disrespectful management in the entire world. I am a very polite and nice person for the most part and hardly lose my temper. But, today I literally need a drink after dealing the manager here. I recently moved into these apartments thinking I made the best choice out of 9 other places I ...
    was seeking and soon found out it was a huge mistake. First, the did not repaint the apartment, there were dead dice in the kitchen, a spider in the bedroom, Ants in bathroom/bathtub, Holes in Master bedroom not covered up, carpet is dirty, Electrical problems- had to go to breaker 3 times on Sunday, and bathroom sink stopped up/ Master Bathroom. Just to name a few issues I had with the property. So, I attempted to call the office but guess what? For an entire week they would NEVER return my calls. When I first applied for the apartment I could reach them every day anytime of the day. I plan on taking legal actions and will not return to that apartment until I have I am out of this filthy place. This is a legit review and really hope people do not move here until the management has been replaced the units are up to code.

  • Terrible Management. Not worth the price.

    The environment and amenities of this apartment complex are very nice, however, it is marred by poor management practice and greedy business model. Firstly, they do not have enough parking space; to combat that, they charge residents a mandatory parking fee. This was a practice that wasn't established when we first moved in. Secondly, they are very slow to respond to broken amenities such as the kitchen sink. They constantly give last-minute notice for any type of maintenance they want to do ...
    around the apartment and expect you to work around their schedules. More than once, we were given a less than 24 hours notice to put away certain item so they can do some cleaning/ renovation. There are many other small issues that I will not list, the conclusion is that this apartment home is not worth the price.

  • STAY AWAY FROM. Save time, money & NERVE

    When they took place everything changed, from management to quality of life. they hired couple of kids in the office and they are learning and do know much. Constant pounding for hours a day 7 days a week! Load noise from everywhere, construction will continue for 3 years, Nightmare. sometimes they worked till 9:00pm with their construction. It has been a nightmare. Parking is also a nightmare, and even knowing this, they still take up a whole row of parking with their contractors storage and ...
    dumpsters! I have called more than dozens of times to complain about all the problems. AAA investigator came to my apartment asked for a stolen car It was scary. Poor management, They do not know how to handle a small thing. They are kiddos in this business. The office is closed most of the time. Out for something. Don't answer the phones. Dirty and debris all over place. Noise Noise Noise, every day 24-7 Load noises, No one cares. They have one gardener and he has to work every single day and make a lot of noise with his blower. and always dirty. Save time, money & NERVE..........There are lot of opportunities out there.

  • RENTER BEWARE! DO NOT RENT FROM AMC!

    If I could give this place a ZERO or negative stars I would. The management is horrible. The front office is not helpful, and all they do is lie or give blanket "i'm sorrys" without ever trying to fix the problem. The main management company, AMC is the reason for all of the issues. They clearly do not care about the tenants. They have come into my home without notice and ruined a priceless gift. Ripped stuff out of my bathrooms and kitchen cabinets and then left it there. I felt SO VIOLATED! ...
    Then they denied any wrongdoing. They have been doing construction since they took over, and the community has become a dumping ground for their contractors. We haven't been able to use any of the amenities, it's been almost half a year with no use of the pool, no use of the clubhouse, and we barely got our gym back recently, and they took away our business center. They are NOTORIOUS for nickeling and diming their residents. They literally charge you for every little thing, from gaining access to your packages through a system NO ONE wanted, to paying for a fob if you don't have a smartphone to download an app to gain entry into these so-called amenities. This has been happening since fall of last year, and it's about to be March! Just this morning I had to call, in tears, from all the construction noise they have bestowed upon us. Constant pounding for 8 hours a day 6 days a week! Tonight they went until almost 9:00pm with their construction. It has been a nightmare. Parking is also a nightmare, and even knowing this, they still take up a whole row of parking with their contractors storage and dumpsters! I have called more than dozens of times to complain about all the problems. I have sent dozens of emails to all the managers, including AMC's VPs and still NOTHING. There is a reason why they are rated F on the BBB. They have literally left a fallen light post with exposed electrical wires lying around for two months (with electric current still running through it), with nothing more than caution tape around it, and then blamed the City of Mission Viejo for not giving them permission to fix it. Their contractors have also literally chained equipment to trees with bike chains. Once I told them about it, the next time the landscaper just "hid" his chainsaw in the bushes instead...I mean REALLY? Please save yourselves the HEADACHE and find a better apartment in Mission Viejo. There are way better options than here. Good luck with your search.

  • STAY CLEAR OF THESE HORRIBLE APTS!!!

    They are high prices for rundown apts that haven't been upgraded in years. When we moved in they were owned by Essex. Our apt had not been clean out. The crisping drawers of the refrigerator were all cracked and broken and didn't slide in or out. the cabinets were warped and do not close. Our kitchen cabinet under the sink the doors don't even come together. when they are closed there is a huge gap between the doors. The stove didn't work properly. If you turned the oven on it would not ...
    turn off. Maintenance didn't seem to think that our gas stove staying on all night was an emergency. smh The pool was closed every other month and closed for months at a time. So as if the Madrid wasn't bad enough under Essex...a new company buys the property and becomes a new nighmare. First they start making all types of changes that made sense at first but and time when by you realized that these people are worse. They came in and did all of these renovations. great. However, we had already spent the majority of our lease not being able to use the amenities that we pay for now they shut everything down so we had no amenities. Every new change they made somehow cost us money. They got a new system for paying rent online and you have to pay for that. Including one option that charges you a percentage of your rent. And it's pretty big. Then they changed the systems for opening entryways to an app which means if you don't have a smart phone you cannot access any of the amenities unless you pay for a fob. Can they even do that? I can see making new leases paying for a fob but if we didn't have to in our original lease we shouldn't have to because they took over. When it was essex we got all of our packages in the office. They created a space now for packages to get delivered there and they are limiting what kinds of packages we can get there and telling us our other packages will have to be put outside of our doors...during CHRISTMAS!! This place is a mess and the big ogar looking chic they have working there gives you the same robotic answers and lies. She tells you one thing one day and will deny saying it the next day. Our spa still isn't working. I'm just disgusted with my entire experience here and I would NOT recommend ANYONE moving there unless your looking to pay high prices for garbage!! I only gave them a star because this system makes you!
