June 2, 2022Although Magnolia South appears to be a safe, calm, and updated place to live with great amenities, it is not. If staying in shape is important to you, do not live here. The fitness equipment, although brand new, keeps breaking. They only provide two ellipticals and two treadmills for a community of over a hundred people. The treadmills, when elevated, break due to the motor going out. One treadmill has been broken for over a month, with no end in sight. Management does make accommodations for ...individuals to use the gym across the street at a property under the same corporation, they do not communicate to residents in a timely manner regarding changes to amenities, and they provide no rent decrease for amenities being subpar. Furthermore, the trash valet service is stupid. They do not pick up trash on Friday and Saturday (the busiest days of the week). Also, they do not take bulky items or boxes; hence, you are forced to drive 10 minutes down the road, out of your way, to the dump to take care of your own trash. Additionally, if someone wants a lease over 13 months, they do not offer it, which is dumb. Overall, I do not recommend living here and I hope for change to occur soon.
