Best apartment we’ve lived in
March 24, 2023This has been the best apartment neighborhood/complex we have ever lived in. Having renewed our lease three times, we would’ve continued a fourth if it weren’t for purchasing a home. Our layout is the B1 which is really nice because you don’t have anyone above or below you, and the noise from shared walls is minimal due to the layout. Storage is usually an issue in apartments, but not here, as you have space in the garage, a patio storage room and walk in closets (in our style unit) It’s also ...really nice to have a driveway leading into the garage, especially if you want to bbq. The other thing too is that the neighborhood is really quiet with respectful neighbors. Few of the streets are thruways, so it cuts down on vehicle noise from cars passing by. I also have really enjoyed the amenities. There is a locker storage system for packages, occasionally we have deliveries to our door, but that’s minimal and we’ve had no issues. The club house is very welcoming, can be rented for events or gatherings at a fair price, and I’ve never seen the gym or pool areas messy. Lastly, the maintenance team here has been really helpful. You can use the app to put in general requests, but if it’s an emergency, you have a direct line and usually receive a callback after a few minutes of leaving a message if no one answers. Living here has been a great place to be and is a happy balance between traditional apartment living and having a townhome.Property Manager Responded

Nice and Quiet
April 24, 2021I love this place! It is totally worth it! It is so nice to come home after a busy crazy day at work to my apartment. I have a nice large balcony to relax on, a walking trail to take my dog on. Its just really peaceful here. I see lots of people talk about a high electric bill but that hasn't been my experience. I'd take not having someone live above or below me any day!Property Manager Responded

Attached Garages!!
February 24, 2020I have lived here for over a year and I love it! Its close to the line creek walking trail and they even have their own walking trail my lil dog loves! Best thing is it comes with an attached garage! Its been so nice not having to worry about cleaning my car off in the morning. For the price you are getting a much better deal on square footage than the other places I've looked at in the area and those places don't come with an attached garage.Property Manager Responded

May 24, 2017We lived there 4 years ago. The maintenance people came in our home without permission. I caught them in the act when I returned in 5 minutes. Items stolen. Management of coarse are nice when you meet them, but once your in, very unprofessional and dishonest. We broke our lease due to theft. They told us $2000, well worth getting out. We then received a letter we over paid. It was $1800 and they kept the difference. Kept our deposit, and our nephew who was with us for two months a ...disabled vet, kept his deposit. Which he was suppose to get back. WE bought a home with no problem. But they were quick to put on there we owed them $600 for breaking the lease. No, they owed us. They were already known for there dishonesty and was no problem. I'm writing again, were buying more land, and it's still there. Again we have perfect credit, explained, and again there known for putting false statements on your credit bureau. We bought our land no problem. Just hate seeing any negativity when we do every thing right to have perfect credit. That little ding does nothing. But just BEWARE of your credit bureau.Property Manager Responded

Nice apartment complex but!!!!
January 18, 2017My husband and i moved in the first of october 2016. We chose the complex because of the attached garage. What we weren't prepared for was the really high utility bills. Everything is electric so our last electric bill was $155 for 2 people and we were still cold in our apartment. The conservice bill is another $100 month for water, pests control and trash. These units are older so the windows and patio doors let in a lot of cold air and the walls must not be insulated well because they are ...very cold to the touch. The grounds are nice except for people that don't clean up after their pets, this has been a real problem. We made the mistake of not checking with the electric company to see what the utility bills were like for the unit.Property Manager Responded

Okay Place to live.
August 21, 2015It is a nice quiet area in the Northland; however, the apartment is cheaply build I can hear my neighbors conversations and every move. The windows are cheap and the apartment stays cold in the winter which means high electric bills. I moved to this complex because I liked the attached garage. The rent is pricey for the type of finishes they offer. If you do not get the upgrades you will be disappointed in the apartment finishes. The appliances are old and new to be updated.Review from Apartments.com
Best apartment complex I've lived in
August 5, 2015I have lived in many apartment complexes over the years, moving first for college then for work several times. I can say without a doubt that The Manor Homes of Fox Crest is by far the best place I've ever lived. The fact that every apartment has an ATTACHED garage is a huge plus. No going outside to scrape ice and snow off your car in the winter time, or worrying about a random hail storm. I feel like it is a very safe community anyway, but say for instance if you were getting home after dark ...and were at all concerned about your safety, you could pull into the garage and close the door before unlocking your car and getting out without ever having to step outside. This is also the only apartment complex I've lived where I have gotten to know so many of my neighbors that live here as well. The pool here is great, and people are generally very friendly. That is where I have met so many people. They have a covered patio area by the pool that has a TV so people can stay caught up on the game while at the pool. They also have 2 large propane grills that are free for residents to use. Many people bring food down and have a nice day of grilling good food, swimming, and socializing with friends and neighbors. The staff has always been nice and helpful and every time I've ever had any maintenance issue it has been fixed quickly and without a problem. You can even submit maintenance requests online anytime, and they get it taken care of promptly.
