Renters Reviews and Ratings
Poorly managed & maintained
May 7, 2024The management at the Mariposa is extremely difficult to work with. They don’t respond to emails or pick up the phone during their posted business hours. After we moved out, they wrote us a deposit check that bounced when we tried to deposit it. Building maintenance is neglected, creating safety issues. The garage door is often broken which allows anyone direct access to the units. There are regularly people sleeping in the trash rooms and lighting fires. This lead to monthly fire alarms. The ...other entrances to the building are often broken. Other residents in the building sell drugs which invites a host of people into the building who do not live there. Other residents are not respectful of shared spaces. The elevator is filled with dog urine on a daily basis. While the location is convenient to downtown, it’s also within a block of two of the largest encampments in the city. The units are small but relatively nice. Do not live here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Could be nicer
January 25, 2022Been here a few years now and it's not terrible but could definitely use some improvements. Management and maintenance need to be more reliable. Elevator and garage door often broken, takes forever to get fixed. Also, more of the tenants could do better about caring for where they live.Review from Apartments.com
I would not recommend this place
June 19, 2020I have a very poor experience with this apartment complex. The maintenance is very unreliable, there is a constant issue with homeless people entering the building. The garage doors are constantly broken and it takes them for months to fix it, meanwhile, it opens up a way in for homeless people, for thieves. It is very unsafe to park your motorcycle in the garage and cars get broken into. The elevators often don't work. The entrance door also has some issues once in a while and it takes them ...forever, to fix anything. Homeless people often sleep in the hallways. I wouldn't recommend anyone to live here. The building itself is nice but they are having a hard time maintaining it and the security is very poor.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Mariposa
August 20, 2015The location is great. Right next to the 10th and Osage LR station which has most lines. There is a B-cycle stand right here also and a park that is transitioning from kind of rough to pretty tame. You can walk to downtown but it does not feel like you are that close. The units and buildings are nice and new and seem quiet. The management is the only reason for 3 stars. They are super friendly but rarely get anything done when you ask. No notification for when packages have been delivered ...to the office instead of your door, the rent drop box is in a building that is locked on weekends and after work hours so if you have a regular job such as I you have to ask your neighbor to drop off rent unless you want to take time off work to pay money.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
