ABOUT: Meadow East is a warm, inviting, pet-friendly apartment community welcoming residents from all over the world to Potsdam, NY to live a secluded environment surrounded by lush greenery, while still ensconced in the middle of Potsdam’s main commercial core. Our goal is for our residents to enjoy a happy, active lifestyle conducive to their needs, whether they be students, retirees, or professionals. To that end, we believe our 1,2 or 3-bedroom apartment layouts, our services, our full-time administration and maintenance staff, and our amenities will offer you whatever you need from a home. We have a large field for sport and walking (also doubling as Potsdam’s biggest private dog park) and our children’s playground and picnic area with grills, smokers, and soon a tandoori oven, provide space for one and all to enjoy the outdoors just steps from your door. And coming soon: A small gym as well. We’ll fit your needs with a range of floorplan options and lease terms, at very reasonable prices, giving you flexibility to rent an apartment of your choice for a short, one-year stay or for long-term residency. We even have electric chargers in each parking lot for all non-Tesla electric cars Full-time on-site manager and maintenance staff, plenty of off-street parking, coin-op laundry facilities, snow clearing and lawn maintenance: We do what we do to make your life carefree, so you can “do YOU”! The fact he and his staff also work really hard to keep the apartments in good shape almost seems like an “extra”. I had two repairs needed while here and they did the easy one in 24 hours and the hard one in 2 ½ weeks. That seemed pretty reliable to me. And this is important, because 2-5 days every winter the roads are blocked by snow, but you will still be able to make it in to work because you live a mere 700 yards away. SUNY ? 1.5 miles The post office? 1.3 miles All the best restaurants in town? Directly across the street!! The pharmacies, grocery stores and the best furniture stores in town? DIRECTLY across the street!!! APARTMENT AMENITIES Most Kitchens have full-size electric ovens and 18-22 cubic foot refrigerators Full-sized dishwasher in selected units All apartments have a full-sized, clean bathroom with great lighting Bathrooms in selected units come with medicine cabinet and vanity storage Private indoor-outdoor balconies in many apartments Some units have cathedral ceilings to 10-16’ in height Cable-Internet ready LED Lighting in majority of apartments Washer /Dryers on site (coin op) 3-Bedroom Townhouses all have private washer-dryer hookups Parcel reception and storage available at the main office for residents away for a short period Coming Summer 2024: Air Conditioner rental in summer with installation & removal Each of our various modern apartments offer quality, spacious layouts. Our roomy kitchens provide space for a full table and chairs and enough room to cook and move around freely. Our bathrooms are spacious enough to share comfortably. Taking it all together, our apartments are designed to feel like home. COMMON AREA AMENITITES Spacious play areas, Picnic area w grill-smokers, fire pits, and, coming summer 2024, a tandoori oven. Relax in evenings and watch the deer eating Parking Each apartment comes with room for parking 2 vehicles, although if owning a car is not necessary, we highly encourage folks to buy a bike as they are great 7 ½ months a year. Pets Meadow East is a pet-friendly community for all pet owners. Added rent for our quadruped friends is $60 for a cat and $30 for a dog. Maximum two pets, and of course cats must be spayed and neutered, and dogs must ALWAYS be picked up after. Obviously, not all pet breeds are accepted at Meadow East. All pets MUST be child friendly. No exceptions. Full pet rules can be discussed in person with the managers. Canine Amenity Package: Room to run (no fences, so let your pet off the leash with your own cautions and pick-up bags) Waste disposal bins (bags not provided) Please note that dogs weighing more than 20 pounds are not allowed. Maximum two pets per apartment Recreation Coming soon will be a small gym on site that will be free to all residents of both Meadow East and Swan Landing. The gym will be open 8am to 10pm and will require a magnetic fob that will be supplied to everyone who asks for one . The property is very large and scenic and is open for any number of outdoor activities.
