Best First Apartment!
September 21, 2023I have absolutely loved living here so far. I like that the location is close enough that I could walk to campus on a nice day, yet far enough that I do not feel as though I am living on campus. The facility is beautiful inside and out. There is plenty of space, it truly feels like home. The balcony has been great for sitting outside and enjoying the fresh air. The laundry in-unit and dishwasher have been extremely convenient. The move-in process was smooth, and everything has been clean and ...well-maintained. The Wi-Fi always works well, and it is incredibly fast. I have appreciated having a fitness room in the facility. If I could live here forever - I WOULD !!
April 5, 2019I have lived here for 2 years and am so sad I have to move out! Luxurious accommodations, huge apartments, and friendly staff made living here unforgettable. The workers truly go above and beyond to make your life easier and make it a point to get to know you. I felt so safe living here and whenever there was an issue, they would resolve it immediately. As far as pricing goes, it was very affordable considering how new and beautiful the apartments are and they are in a great location! Everything ...you need is in walking distance, it’s truly perfect. One of my favorite things about living here is the free workout room being right outside of my apartment and free tanning in the office. Best place in town!
March 28, 2019To be honest, I was nervous moving to such a small town coming from the Chicago suburbs. My entire experience at Melrose/Brooklyn Heights has been pleasant, relaxing, and comfortable from the day I signed my lease. The apartments are huge given relatively cheap rent, and completely satisfy my needs, even as a graduate student. Our leasing agents are quick to respond and go above and beyond when looking into/solving any issues you may be having. Misty, in particular, consistently takes the time ...and puts in the effort to ensure you are 110% satisfied with your home. Additionally, she cares to get to know her tenants, and is always eager to have a conversation with you or ask how you are doing. March 22, 2019After a long search for an apartment close to EIU's campus, it was a no brainer for me to choose Brooklyn Heights. All of the amenities that I needed are included, and I even get to tan for free and use the workout rooms. The apartments are modern-looking and very spacious. Love Where I Live!
February 26, 2019I absolutely LOVE living at Melrose! As an EIU student the last 4 years, I can honestly say that Melrose is easily my favorite place to live. I regret not finding Melrose sooner. These apartments offer a home away from home; with an extremely comfortable setup and living area. I love the size of my room, being a "room-body" but this apartment makes me want to hangout at the large island and do my grad school work. Also, the roommate matching process is great, I love my new roommate and we get ...along very well, while also having our own privacy! 10/10 would recommend to any EIU student or faculty member.Property Manager Responded
