The office staff have failed to get pest control here on a regular basis, and it's basically uninhabitable. The bugs are so bold that they will crawl right up to humans to take their food in broad daylight while cooking or trying to eat. They even end up inside the fridge. I have had to miss so much work from waiting around every Thursday for their contracted pest control to maybe visit, and they often don't come due to weather or lack of communication from office staff who make excuses about being on vacation. They also refuse to let you do your own pest control or schedule on other days. When they do finally do big treatments, I am responsible for basically packing up 3 rooms in my apartment so they can spray, on top of then moving big appliances back into place by myself, unpacking my stuff again, and cleaning up all of the dead bugs when they are done. They also don't give any notice of confirmation or cancellation of these services. I have to get all living creatures out of my apartment for the rest of the day when they do come because the poisons they use are so strong, which means paying for somewhere that my cat and my child can go each time.
