horrible place to live!
November 1, 2022This apartment is probably the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in my 10 years of renting! We started off with no hot water for 2 weeks, had sewage in our walk way for 2 months, sewage infested pools, an ant problem and the staff is the absolute worst. Tread with CAUTION!!!
October 15, 2020We moved in when the apartments were still called Sonora Pines. When we moved in it was an awesome community with amazing staff! However, this did not last very long. The property was then sold to another company. That company renamed it Peoria on Modern. They lasted a few months and then sold it again. Then it was renamed Moxxi. As soon as this happened the place was no longer nice. The office staff is rude and unhelpful, maintenance never responded to requests, and the management company was ...horrible! If you need a place in Peoria, I'd advise staying away!Property Manager Responded

Bad to worse
July 16, 2019MOXI recently acquired, I was hopeful as to a better environment. I was wrong!! water off constantly, noisy, rude office personnel, gates never secure, the Gym is only open office hours, pools closed for repairs well past notice and they don't communicate with tenants (where suppose to check their sight as to their problems). BEWARE! My opinion is you don't get what you see or expect. sincerely moving soon.Review from Apartments.com
I like living here.
May 9, 2019I have lived here for 9mos and I can honestly say we have had a good experience. The location was great for my girls as far as school. I like the fact that they close the gate around 7pm everynight. My apartment is peaceful and my chores feel safe. They can swim, we can workout, do red activities and we don't have to leave the complex to do it. The maintenance could be more prompt however I appreciate the cleaning of the parking lots, and spraying for bugs on a consistent basis. I don't ...know what others are experiencing, but I have no bugs and my building is quiet, with a schedule like my family has peace is important. We transitioned here from another state and could not have picked a better place to live, based on schools, location for work and etc. When we leave it will only be to get a house. Ehhh
April 19, 2019Really wish I could give 0 stars! Let's start with when I first moved in. I did my initial walk through. By myself I might add. Vents have stuff coming out of them! Lights flickering, bathroom sink wasn't working, bathtub faucet did not have caulking on it, kitchen sink extremely loose, carpet in closet smelled of mildew. And let's not forget the huge air pockets in the flooring. Wrote it all down and then turned it in. All they fixed the sink in the bathroom and the bath tub faucet. Now I have ...other issues that have yet to be fixed. My apartment is slowly falling apart and they have lazy maintenance who take their sweet time riding around on their golf cart. Always on the phone, or by the garage in the back. Lazy and useless. Now after coming "home" from working all day seeing the things are still the same, I get to hear my lovely neighbors. Oh joy! Let's put it this way. They live in their apartment with no regard or respect for others. They live in there as if it was a house! I have two children. One is in grade school and the other is 3 months old. My daughter sleeps with head phones in her ear because they are so loud, screaming and yelling, running, jumping and slamming the sliding doors ugh. You name it they do it! And my poor baby infant is woken up every single time! I have told the front office about all of this on more than one occasion and nothing has been done. So once they changed the managers I had to come in and let them know. I have all the documents showing nothing was fixed. So do yourself a favor and keep looking. I know the utilities included besides electric are very appealing. I do not recommend living here. And when my lease is up I am out of here! I honestly would rather live out of my car than live here!Property Manager Responded

RUN! DON'T MOVE HERE!
March 12, 2019Every thing you can think of is wrong here, bed bugs,roaches,dog crap, bitbulls everywhere,housepartys,fights,my truck has been broken into three times management tells me call the police like it not their problem, we have had at least 30 different days of water outages,the gate is almost always open or broken all together, RENT! They only give 6 to 8 month leases and will raise your rent every $100 every 6 to 8 months as they have raised my rent 3 times in 14 months, and if you are late on your ...rent the WILL! File court charges 3 days late! And leave threatening phone calls, the owner has been here in his cherry red Ferrari openly yelling at the staff, is where our money is going! Don’t live here!
April 12, 2018This is by far the worst place I have ever lived.they randomly shut off your water supply without a 24 hour notice! The ac units are 10 yrs old so the aps is double the amount! Not to meantion the front office staff, so unprofessional! They can’t provide a statement at the end of the month.They are only trying to get an extra buck. They could careless about the people that actually stay in the apartment.construction goes on 7days a week at 8am . Save your money. Go somewhere else If you don’t ...want to hear that train on grand at 4am EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have lived here for two years and have not once been able to use the pool or gym! November 28, 2017They have a new management program in place for a few months now, and they have been nothing but nice. Joe is the best he always gets my stuff fixed when I asked. This is nothing like the other team I'm glad they are gone. All I know is that every time I come in everyone talks to me. I asked the manager if I could get something and within 5 minutes it's done. I have to say with the new paint on the outside and the things that they're planning to do I think they're trying to get some good people ...in here. September 8, 2015I have been living in this apartment for a year now, they have been great. The grounds are clean and well maintained, if you call the office during business hours, there is always someone there to answer your call and if you call outside of business hours they call you back. Every time we have needed maintenance done on our apartment it always gets done in a timely manner. We have been very happy living here.Review from Apartments.com
