Great place!
September 1, 2017What led us to rent there include: 1. Location. It's very close to cycling trails (Cedar Lake, River Road, Hiawatha), the Mississippi, the U of M, the Guthrie and to downtown. The Light Rail and Target Field are a 10 minute walk away. It's been easy to shop for groceries and general items. For downtown, it's a safe neighborhood. 2. Quietness. It's pretty quiet for a building so close to downtown. We looked at other buildings in downtown Minneapolis and on University Avenue in St Paul during ...our tours - they were louder inside 3. The apartment itself. It's very nice. Gas ranges, wooden floors in the bedrooms as well as the living areas, and lots of natural light (see the pictures on the website) do make a difference 4. The public areas. We didn't think we would use the patios, the gym or the gas grills, but we do. They are well maintained 5. The management. They have been very responsive to questions. The one time something needed to be done in my apartment, it was done promptly. 6. It's eco-friendly. This isn't just hype. There is an herb garden you can get fresh herbs from. The building collects organic waste for composting, and also collects rainwater. CSA is offered in the spring if you want it. We are a retired couple and didn't know if we "fit the demographic profile" of the rest of the building. We feel right at home. Happiness Is Soltva
November 8, 2016True to its name, Soltva is a second sun. Or so it seems, looking out into the bright sky from our floor-to-ceiling windows, or stepping out to walk along the stunning Mississippi River, such an oasis in the city. Soltva is a beautiful building, minimalist and modernist, and it is beautifully situated, offering not only proximity to the Mighty Mississippi, but to a major bike trail, to restaurants, pubs, and music clubs, and to light rail. The absolute best place to live.
November 6, 2016My fiancé and I absolutely love living here. We love the esthetics, the environmental consciousness, the views, and most importantly - the staff. Each member of the team goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of and notified of all happenings on a regular basis. Most impressive of all? They all know you by name.
