If you want to live worry free in a nice building... DO NOT COME HERE TO “Noho House South”.
May 3, 2021Come to find out this building is severely neglected as well as poorly upkept. As any caring tenant would; we address arising issues with whom it pertains to. We expect these matters to be tended to and given attention, As the building should. to no avail. The garage is a pressing safety issue. There must be security at this building complex, STAT. The building does have cameras, BUT THEY DO NOT WORK. This is Blatant negligence. This is a matter that should have been taken care of right away. ...Instead, there have been several complaints to the building but they legitimately do not care. They have done nothing to right their wrongs. They only send out weak apologies through email instead of fixing the solution. “Sorry” means nothing if change and action do not follow. light fixtures in the parking garage do not work which are supposed to provide a clear view for the cameras. This had created a blind spot in the parking garage which is a huge liability. Anything can happen and has happened already. People can be attacked, hurt, etc in these blind spots. It’s not okay, it’s frankly terrifying. Moreover, there are two gates in the parking garage. One of which is kept OPEN , all day and all night. No exaggeration there. This has gotten to the point where cars are being damaged. I know of tenants who have had several issues. A tenant’s car window was smashed in. Another tenant’s car was broken into. A tenant’s WORK equipment was STOLEN, which is their LIVELIHOOD. This is all very wrong and lies directly in the hands of whom owns/runs/manages the building. Tell me why we pay for a complex but yet close to nothing gets done. Casualties occur day in and day out. We are supposed to feel comfortable and safe in our home. But we can’t even securely park our own cars IN OUR HOME. Then when we speak up about issues that are a liability and what not. We are told we complain too much. What does the building higher ups expect to happen It was stated that it’s safer to park out on the street rather than in the parking garage itself. It’s gotten scary, a buddy system has been needed where I do not go alone downstairs. I do not leave the apartment by myself. Out of fear, that someone else will strike with no surveillance (camera footage) for my protection. Another thing: the large trash bin (for the whole complex) is never taken out. It is piled up, to the point where we have been told to no longer throw trash down the chute. When the tenants PAY for it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Decent place
May 28, 2019The place is pretty decent. Nothing too special. It’s close to a lot of things, so that’s very convenient. The place has a lot of pets, so be prepared for a lot of barking. The property manager Erica is really great, but the place is very dirty at its core. I see her cleaning a lot, but there is just a dirty layer over everything. The laundry is the worst. You have to run the dryer 3-4 times just to get a load dry and the washer isn’t very great either. Decent place to live. I would recommend ...it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
