Dumpster Fire
July 13, 2024Broken promises and a management that couldn’t care less. Imagine your worst university campus management company back in the day and stick them in Chicago. Living here is overpaying for a solid skyline view and good location. Don’t fall for it when they tell you the pool will be open.Review from Apartments.com
Packages stolen, amenities not available
March 22, 2023Until packages stop getting ROUTINELY stolen you are better off living anywhere else. There is one door to the outside that opens directly to the "package room". It is very easy for non-residents to sneak in as TONs of people get UberEats etc.Review from Apartments.com
Do Not Live Here
August 29, 2022I finally was able to move out after signing a 15 month lease. The property manager told me the rooftop pool and amenities would be ready the week after I moved in. 15 months later, they have not made any more progress on the roof or amenities with the latest update saying it will be pushed to 2023. The building door constantly breaks, resulting in being locked out of the building which has happened to me personally on multiple occasions. I have had to call the emergency hotline at 2am and no one ...ever showed up to help. You have to pay your last month's full rent, even if your lease ends earlier in the month. The building does not schedule move in/out times which resulted in three different units trying to use the 1 elevator to move out at the same time. Packages constantly go missing as well. Find another building.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
June 25, 2022Management has started renting out units out on Air BnB with out telling residents. I found out that this building was now an Air BnB from guests who needed help finding their keys. I was completely blindsided as this is such a safety concern for all residents who are paying to live in this “luxury”apartment complex.Packages constantly get stolen and it’s summer of 2022 and the pool is filled with melted snow rain water and algae. DO NOT LIVE HEREReview from Apartments.com
Terrible management
December 26, 2021Management at this building is really disappointing and very unresponsive. There are no amenities, so very much false advertisement having these amenities listed. There are so many available buildings in Old Town, I would save yourself the trouble and rent elsewhere, especially if you value amenities at all (since you are paying for them).Review from Apartments.com
Do Not Live Here - Terrible Experience
August 5, 2021The management at this building are worse than I have ever experienced. They are terrible communicators (slow to respond, surly, curt, and just downright rude), they don't believe us when we tell them we have an issue, they've made countless promises that were blatant lies (rooftop amenities have a Stop Work order from the city, even though they told us they would be finished by our move-in date), and are generally unpleasant people. Their staff turnover is so high that we are currently dealing ...with our fourth representative in less than three months. There is zero accountability and if you have a problem (which rest assured, you will have many here) then you are 100% on your own to get it fixed. The unit itself had many, many issues with it when we moved in and some of them are still not fixed. We are not alone in this at all as we hear this same experience from other people in the building all the time. Everyone we've met feels similarly duped by Kass Management and equally or more unhappy with the people running this place as we are. Do not live here!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Dishonest Disaster
June 4, 2021Nearing the end of a 15 month lease and we will have had the amenities promised to us available for exactly ZERO days. There is no pool. No roof deck. No common area. Nothing. Don't worry, we still paid to use them. Packages are stolen. Three units flooded. Gas was shut off for days after management didn't pay the bill for the entire building. Parking lot is littered with trash. Management is incredibly difficult to contract with any problems. Stay away. Live somewhere else.Review from Apartments.com
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT
May 27, 2021The management here does not care about anything or anyone besides screwing people over and getting their money. Our front door has not worked the entire time we lived here and we have been stolen from multiple times and they refuse to fix it. We were also promised amenities that were never built. We have had three building managers in the past couple of months and they keep getting worse. They won't answer any emails or phone calls unless you call pretending to be someone new interested in ...renting. Please, save yourself the money and hassle, DO NOT LIVE HERE.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible experience - stay away
May 15, 2021Awful awful management that straight up lie about everything. No amenities for over 10 months and tons of other issues. Unit and location is nice but basically everything else about the building/landlords sucks. Please dont live hereReview from Apartments.com
Horrible management and constant lies
May 12, 2021Do not rent from this building. The rooftop amenities are NOT complete or anywhere close to it, and the management constantly lies about when it will be finished - the date that they "promise" it will be finished has moved at least 4 times during our lease. They recently have been promising completion by Memorial Day, but we recently found out (after having to email SEVERAL times before getting a response at all) that this is a complete lie and the ownership is actually involved with a lawsuit ...with the city that will delay construction even further. They RARELY respond to emails and when they do respond, they are unwilling to provide updates and are very hard to work with. Save your money and rent from one of the other several COMPLETED buildings in the area.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Misleading Amenities & Poor Management
May 7, 2021We were told the building would complete construction of the amenities by July 2020 before we moved in on August 1, 2020. It is May 2021 and they are still not complete... In August 2020 we received a rude email from the property manager asking the tenants to stop inquiring about the amenities and that timely updates on the amenities would be provided. No amenity updates were ever provided. When emailed, we would receive more deadlines that were not met. The building tenants were also promised ...Xsport membership due to the fitness center being incomplete and from what I've heard from friends in the building, the building has not reimbursed for their membership. There have been other issues in the building such as package theft, noise complaints, pipes bursting, broken washer/dryers, etc.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
False advertising
April 26, 2021This building has been promising its tenants amenities since June 2020. Here we are in April 2021, and there are no amenities in sight. They have delayed construction 4 times since our move-in date, they make false promises and clearly do not care for their tenants. The management is so awful they seem to have a new person each month- you are lucky if they respond after 5+ emails. Beautiful construction but do not expect much else. Save your $ and look elsewhere.Review from Apartments.com
