Absolute Trash
August 8, 2024Management changed twice in the time I was here and their quality went downhill. They kept charging extra fees every month and in the end when moving out, they charged extra for cleaning and damages that didn't even exist. In addition, half the doors don't work or are broken; the hallways are bug infested; the garages are nightmare-level danger zones featuring tight spaces and hazardous turns that are a wonder it even passed city inspection.Review from Apartments.com

July 10, 2023My roomate’s and I are counting down the days until we can leave this hell hole of an apartment complex. It is outrageously expensive. Parking costs $60 a month. Our elevators break every time there is a thunderstorm and they have been broken for almost two months. People are trying to move out during the hot summer. Management is absolutely terrible at their core because ultimately they can’t get things done. Horrible Accounting and Management
March 17, 2023Wrongfully, and without presenting evidence, they charged us $140 for damages to the carpet and pain in the bedroom. We did not leave behind any damages and it is their responsibility to wash carpet or apply fresh paint before renting the apartment again. They sent our account to collections for those charges. They also charged us $91.58 for "community electric expenses". Normally the facility should be responsible for those charges. On top of it, they did not refund $250 deposit. NOT WORTH IT
September 29, 2022You will pay twice as much as you think you will. They have stupid charges. They add on 50-60 each, so I pay almost double. The management never answers questions, and it screws us over. I would give a 0 if I could. I have lived here for four years, and this last year they got new management that ruined everything up. Don’t believe the hype
August 14, 2021Would not recommend! Look past all the 5 star reviews…the property manager lacks professionalism in returning phone calls and emails after multiple attempts, putting his employees in bad situations. As a new student looking for apartments Northpoint is very deceiving. When you first call about a problem the staff seems extremely accommodating but as time progresses you realize nothing is being done. Personally I think the staff who answers calls are great but the managers suck! I recently tried ...moving in early and the staff said I was at the top of the list to move in. After being told my room was cleaned two times, repainted, and I knew both my roommates, the managing staff still hasn’t allowed me to move in. August 25, 2020I lived there for 3 years and they were a few things: Positives: location Negatives: 1) Horrible customer service: obviously no regard for their own residents they're only trying to get new people to sign at higher rates - no incentive for tenant loyalty. The student workers are great and welcoming, it is the management that acts childish, unprofessional and inconsiderate. 2) Not worth the money: they offer amenities and a great location. Their amenities are never clean, their workout equipment ...is not maintained and half of their machines are squeaky or broken so any workout buffs - find somewhere else to live. ALSO they have a switch for fans in the bedroom but obviously were cutting some corners for construction and the bedrooms have no fans so if you want to rely on shitty air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter this is the place for you. 3) Front desk: always chaotic, the front desk workers are very welcoming however if you ever have to talk to management I had so many unprofessional interactions and no consideration or willingness to work with any issues that might arise. They double charged me for rent and utilities for a few months and tried to blame it on me.... because obviously I would want to pay double rent and utilities... Whenever there is a miscommunication from their side of things, they never take responsibility nor compensate or apologize for any unprofessional interactions (especially the leasing management) Another instance of overall unprofessionalism: they WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOUR UTILITIES: if you're not careful and mindful of the amounts your spending, they will send you the same bill twice sometimes months apart to try and scam the same amount from the same bill people have already paid but they then pay again. . . ALSO they do not give refunds, accidentally pay them too much? you're not seeing that money ever again. Good Luck. 4) The doors vs lock system: For whatever reason they switched the locks to where 'you can leave your keys behind when you leave now' (because that makes so much sense...) and now you access your unit door with your phone (VERY HACK ABLE TBH) and you need a separate set of keys to get in through all the entrances (so you need to bring your keys with you anyway... even though you can leave your keys behind when you lock your door) Really just overall not a great place to live. Hard Pass
February 21, 2018This is probably the most over-rated apartment complex in college station. They try so hard to seem nice but in reality, their staff cant help you with any problem, broken glass is left in the hallways all year, vomit is left in the stairs and hallways for a week. Don't even try to walk in any grass because you will step in dog poop. Apartment garage is way too small and you will come close to an accident every day in there. Don't rely in their security because bikes get stolen all the time, all ...they are there to do it make sure you don't park in their precious retail parking that isn't used. There is a good chance you will be put on either Texas Ave. or University Dr. in which case you will hear nonstop radios from cars and sirens driving by. Always weeks behind on emails and phone calls that we were told we would receive. Staff members would tell us many different stories, no one was on the same page. Overall very unorganized.
