Great place you can call home!
September 26, 2020Excellent place to live! I will answer many questions that I had when was checking this complex out. Starters great prices for it being in the DFW, very quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, grass is literally green all year round and well maintained, clean complex all the way around, service guys are very professional and efficient. You can't go wrong moving in I never had any issues here, no break ins happen here I had a truck full of equipment and tools nothing ever went missing or any break ...ins in my vehicles just lock your doors it is an open complex. Management knows how to take care of there tenants I lived there 3 years and Laura always took good care of me.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Nice place to live
January 22, 2020Been here for over half a year, so I figured it was time to leave a review! I like living here. The management staff are so friendly and welcoming. I love our apartment, it has a sunroom for all my plants. Pest control is included w rent and I love that, we’ve had no problems. There’s a great pool. We rarely hear our neighbors. My only real issue is the lackluster laundry room. It is just a small room packed with 4 washers and 4 dryers. The door to the outside stays open all the time and lets the ...bugs and bad weather in. There is no place to sit while you wait for laundry to be done. The machines are often wonky or out of order. That annoyance aside, overall it’s a great place to live. You can easily walk to lots of restaurants, and there’s a comic book store, gas station, and tom thumb right by here. I did lots of shopping around and I think this place has the best rent per square ft. Hope this review will be helpful to you!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Superior service and quality living
January 31, 2019I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Nova Park Apartments. The office management and maintenance staff are friendly, very responsive, and empathetic. There are ample places to eat and get groceries. The community is quiet and safe. The prices are reasonable and I have never had any issues. If I had to contact maintenance, I always got a quick response.Review from Apartments.com

Love these apartments
October 24, 2018I’ve lived here for almost 3 years. We just keep renewing our lease. The management is very easy and sane to work with. Their maintenance staff know how to fix things quickly. Very responsive. Every time our lease is up we look at lots of new places and end up so happy to stay here. The apts are large and while older, kept up beautifully. All the appliances are work horses. Never had a breakdown in almost 3 years. People REALLY clean up after their dogs. I also feel so safe. No break ins.etc. ...Neighbors nice and friendly just an overall great environment. The location is amazing too close to everything. I feel this place is a hidden jewel. Management makes or breaks a place and they really make this small apt complex worth living in. Recently the head maintinence man went beyond his duties. My knee suddenly went out and I literally I couldn’t walk. He helped me Into my apartment using their golf cart or I’d had to call 911. He was so understanding as I was crying a lot. Never hesitated to help me. He is my angel.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
No Communication / Cheap Quality
March 1, 2018Bubbles in carpet, paint overspray/drips everywhere including the carpet, missing window screens, extremely crooked fixtures all over, plumbing issues, etc. Communication about issues they're trying to fix is terrible. Took two weeks to get screens put on my windows & there are apartments all over with random missing screens which makes it look bad. Maintenance was in and out of my apartment w/o documentation or notes left until I demanded it. Takes LITERALLY 5 full minutes to get even remotely ...hot water but it's never 100% hot & if your neighbor showers it sounds like it's in the next room. Did numerous plumbing repairs & left notes about it & nothing changed. They replaced ALL of the toilets in the complex & I was not informed of it happening. Now you can see a huge patch of missing paint from the different sizes. They filled in the base with brown caulking but didn't remove the white caulking still stuck to the floor. It was still wet when my kids and I came home & I had no idea any work was done. Went to bathe my kids & my daughter accidentally touched it & put a big finger dent in it & got it on her hand. They left notes saying they were painting the outside of the apartments (patchy & all kinds of colors & "touch up" paint) but it's been weeks & it looks the same. My new downstairs neighbors are kids who play video games & watch movies loud enough that it wakes up my kids &management will not do anything about it (despite telling them I've tried to go down there myself & they avoid me). The walls/floors are so thin that I can literally hear their entire conversations word for word. The office hours are terrible for those of us with M-F 9-5 jobs so packages are impossible to pick up daily since they don't go to your apartment porch nor get notifications. There's something shady going on with the mail because I used to have a full mailbox every other day & over the last two weeks I've only received TWO PIECES of mail. Not even the usual Sunday junk. So basically, the apartment office is super friendly, but inefficient with communication & resolving issues. The management company clearly isn't investing their money in the right places & not holding maintenance accountable. If you just need a roof over your head in a decent place in a decent area, sure they're fine. But for how expensive it is (way overpriced) I expect & deserve much better amenities, quality, and communication. My lease is up in May & I'm turning in my notice today.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
The new management are intolerable
November 21, 2017Whoever bought this complex a few weeks ago has shut off the water 4 times in 10 days. Each time the water shuts, a loud noise comes through the pipes and the faucet leaks the entire time. Also, maintenance regularly disturbs the residents for no reason. In one week, someone entered the apartment to install some detector, change the toilet, and check the serials on the fridge ( all on different occasions). Save yourself the nightmare of dealing with the new management and rent somewhere else.Review from Apartments.com
Overpriced, with hot water never working, bad area as well
November 1, 2017This place sucks, over priced apartments That are waaay to small, no hot water for three days when they promised it would be down for 2, always messing with the water issue but never fixes it. And very unfriendly people who you can never get a hold of when there is an issue. I hate it. If you value your money at all, go spend it elsewhere.Review from Apartments.com
Nice community, but flawed management
December 14, 2015This apartment complex has its ups and downs. What to expect for non-rent expenses: *You must use Garland for electrical. You will pay ~$70-90/month in winter, ~$100-120 in summer for a 1 bed/bath. *Utilities (water, gas, etc) are shared between building residents - meaning each building shares expenses, divided between each apartment. You will pay ~$90/month. The community seems nice and the neighbors are nice. There's no apparent crime that I have seen. We've not had any bug issues aside ...from a single roach seen during a 6 month stay. There are a few critical issues we've had with the complex. When moving in, we noticed that the bedroom ceiling had been previously repaired. About 2 weeks after moving in, we were awakened by water dripping down on us. We contacted maintenance and spoke with the office staff, being told that the issue would be resolved as soon as possible. We moved our furniture, put down buckets, and slept against the opposite wall. It was 3 weeks from the start of the leak to the roof repair. During that time the single leak grew to nearly 5 as the sheet-rock in the ceiling collected gallons of water and began to sag. 2 weeks after the roof repair, the contractor arrived to fix the popcorn and wet sheetrock that had fallen out of the ceiling. Rather than pulling the old sheetrock and insulation, they simply pushed the old pieces back into place, screwed them down, and spread spackling over them before spraying paint over the water stains. This repair was in place for about a week, when the ceiling began to leak again. The leak started while we weren't home, soaking our mattress and the carpet. Another 2 weeks passed, and the third (second for us) roof repair was finished. Another week and some days after that, the patched ceiling was patched again. We're extra cautious any time it rains, but it hasn't leaked again thus far. Despite the ~8 weeks of inconvenience and a ruined mattress, the staff did nothing other than comment "Sorry about that." Other nitpick downsides: *No notification if you've received a package at the office *It's very difficult to leave the complex because of its two exits (~7 minutes just to pull out during morning rush hours, no left turns onto Jupiter) *Water is heated off of a central furnace, and we've found it takes anywhere from 5 to 20(!) minutes for water to heat up. One of us just takes cold showers.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not bad but, getting better.
September 5, 2015It is still in the process of being fixed-up, since the new owners took over. The improvements are apparent and have done a lot for the place, in a short time.Review from Apartments.com
Oldie buy a goodie
August 16, 2015We see new urban apartments popping up everywhere and they look great, but don't really compare to the older apartments like mine. You get more space for less costs. My sister lives in a newer urban apartment and pays almost $900 for around 500sqft 1 bedroom. I pay under $1000 for over over double the space and 2 bedroom. I don't have to wait a year for my oven to preheat and I actually know my neighbors. The office ladies really care and fight for you and maintenance is great! If you want ...to live in a smaller apartment because it's new that's great, but if you want a great open place with lots of room for less rent and feel like you're welcome by your neighbors and cared for by the office workers then a place like mine Landmark at Brentwood Trace is a great place to stay! I'm resigning my lease without even thinking twice about it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
