Horrible !
January 28, 2019From the outside they look awesome or atleast pretty decent I lived here for about 3 years almost 4 , when I tell you the maintenance is HORRIBLE , they take forever to fix things , if you call emergency maintenance (same person) they take their sweet time to come and fix whatever it is , they are absolutely ridiculous . The inside is outrageous , they may or may not have new carpet my years living here I’ve seen carpet cleaners come for several apartments and just clean the carpets instead of ...replacing them . They have a problem with bugs , roaches specifically , she only had them come literally once or twice of my living there , the kitchen is awful cabinets rotted and outdated is no joke , the counter tops have been or were painted over to made look nice over time the true color scrubs right off and is disgusting . As far as the people she lets live here absolutely insane ! they do not follow rules and are just as nasty as the landlord here,among many many other issues there , if you are reading this review I DO NOT RECCOMEND OAK FORREST for a place for you or your family !Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not the place to call home!
August 21, 2015I wish I was exaggerating when I say that these apartments are at least 30 years old, and never renovated or updated. There are holes in the walls that roaches and ants, etc enter through. The flooring is coming up, carpet is "cleaned" before a new move in, but it is actually dyed a dark brown that transfers to clothing and probably into skin. SOME of the windows were recently replaced, get this, from double-paned to single-paned. The toilets are always either leaking or getting stopped up. There ...is lots of space, but no washer/dryer hookups and the laundry facility is open only when the manager is at work and there are only 2 washers and 2 dryers for a 65-75 unit community.
