Do Not Rent from Red Oak
July 10, 2017I was late 1 day after the 4th of July weekend. on rent payment and they charged me 15% of my total rent as a late fee. They were unwilling to lower it considering I am a "new" tenant and they wanted to teach me a lesson despite the fact that they are willing to waive the fee for other residents. I'm understanding, and own up to being late on payment, but I did ask if I could instead get the 15 "legal" fee waived (which is not something that exists in my lease), and they said no to that as well. ...This kind of arbitrary policy is ridiculous.
