Predatory, don't do it.
September 9, 2024Pacific Bay Vistas is an absolute nightmare to deal with. After moving out, they slapped me with a ridiculous $240 cleaning fee, despite the fact that I hired a professional cleaning service and provided clear proof. To make matters even worse, they shoved this bogus charge into collections without so much as a proper heads-up, causing a 25-point hit to my credit score! The management here is shady, dishonest, and completely unaccountable. They blatantly made up claims about conversations that ...never happened, and their predatory behavior seems to be a recurring theme, based on reviews from others. They’re more interested in squeezing every last dollar from former tenants than maintaining any semblance of integrity. If you want to save yourself from an endless headache and being ripped off, stay far away from this place.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Luxury cardboard box
July 21, 2022Quickly flipped apartments, surface level they look nice but up close they’re kind of a mess. The prices are also pretty crazy for getting basically a luxury cardboard box since they’re so small and the walls are paper thin. Hardwood floors seem nice until you have upstairs neighbors and you can hear every tiptoe, sneeze, and door close. They also nickel and dime you like no other, the cost of the rent is just the begging these guys would charge you for breathing their air if they could.Property Manager Responded
August 6, 2022Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience at Pacific Bay Vistas. We appreciate the feedback you have provided. Housing prices have risen significantly in just this past year. We use market rates to determine our rental prices and we feel our rates are competitive and on par with similar communities within our area. At Pacific Bay Vistas we will make all efforts to resolve any situation where noise level is louder than acceptable apartment living standards. It is certainly understandable that above average noise can be disruptive, and our team always works with all neighbors involved to address these matters. Resolutions will be looked at and offered as necessary based on review of any reports of loud noise. In our lease agreement all additional charges or fees are provided. We would like to address your experience more directly but we need your contact information. Please reach out to ICanHelp@AirCommunitiescom with your information. -Susan

Great
April 23, 2018I’ve lived in pacific bay for about a year now and I think I’m going to have to renew my contract, I have a dog and it’s a great community for pets. The pool and the gym are never busy I it’s great to go any time of day. Neighbors are becoming friends.Review from Apartments.com
Smoke Free
May 22, 2017I love our apartment and the amenities but unfortunately we are unlucky enough to be living above someone who chain smokes marijuana inside of their apartment. The smell is so bad that we have to close all of the bathroom doors and open up the windows because the smell fills our apartment and we are concerned about our 10 month old child inhaling the second hand smoke. We have complained to the office multiple times, and it seemed to help for a little while, but unfortunately our neighbors don't ...seem to comprehend what "no smoking" means. It is beyond embarrassing when you have guest/family over to visit and they have to leave early because the smell of marijuana in your apartment is so bad. At this point I'm at a loss as to what to do and I am furious with the fact that we have to deal with this inside of our own home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
It started out great.....too bad it ended so poorly
December 30, 2015Moved here 2.5 yrs ago and initially loved it. No problems. But with a great increase in animal feces everywhere (not being picked up by owners OR cleaned by maintenance) and an INSANE offer for a lease renewal (the lowest offer was an increase of 400 dollars a month and ranged to more than 1000 dollars a month depending on the length of the lease) I decided that I had to move. That was when all these fees and nonsense were presented to me. Almost $200 to clean the apartment, whether I scrubbed ...it top to bottom or not. And another $300-500 to paint it. Normal wear and tear was written in the lease, but it seems like these guys have NO idea what is normal wear and tear. Because I was being charged extra for just living there. I have moved A LOT for work and throughout my life and have NEVER experienced anything like this. There was no way for me to get The deposit back at all! The apartments are nice, if chilly, and the staff is friendly and as helpful as they can be, but the corporation that runs them is ridiculous about nickel and diming every penny out of you. Do NOT expect any deposit to be returned.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great Apartment but must love fog
August 25, 2015Apartment complex is very nice. VERY DOG friendly and has many amenities. Expensive for the location and weather is often foggy. Difficult to find guest parking.Review from Apartments.com
Great Amenities, Thin Walls
July 20, 2015The saltwater pool and movie theater are amazing. It's a good thing because you won't get much sleep if your neighbors are night owls. If you plan on moving here, invest in ear plugs.Review from Apartments.com
