    Very nice property. No issues, I see some have said the walls were thin. But I rarely here anything from my neighbors. Beautiful trail for runners or walkers. A nice playground and dog park. Plenty of parking. I have never had an issue with repair requests, maintenance is friendly and efficient.

  • Walls too thin

    I have been living here for almost a year now, enjoyed it until some inconsiderate neighbors moved over top of me. Walking extremely loud and making a lot of noise over my head everyday. Waking me up coming home late at night keeping a lot of noise. Tried to reason with them and got nowhere. When l complained to the office about them and was resured they would talked to them which they did. My neighbors got worst because l complained about them. I went back to the office and so did my ...
    neighbors telling lies on me. I came home one day and found a letter on my door stating l would be evicted along with my inconsiderate neighbors. I have been a good tenant pay my rent on time, quite and mind my own business. I was very disappointed with the way things was handle. I will not be renewing my lease when it ends. If you move over here make sure you get an apartment on the third floor because you could end up with inconsiderate neighbors and end up evicted at no fault of your own.

  • No notice/privacy for maintenance

    March 2, 2018
    Do not expect privacy from management. We have lived in this community for 7 1/2 months and maintenance has keyed into the apartment three times with no notice for routine (non-emergency) maintenance. My wife is home with our kids during the day while I am at work and does not open the door to strangers (for obvious reasons). On three separate occasions, property management provided no notice for routine maintenance...things like changing the air filter, reading the water meter, etc...all things ...
    that we did not know would be occurring. Since we were not aware these maintenance visits would be taking place, my wife did not answer the door bell as she was not expecting anyone. Needless to say, she was quite startled to hear the door unlock and a man come stepping in. She was not dressed appropriately on one of the incidents. I communicated to the property manager each time that we would appreciate it if we could be given at least a 24 hour notice for routine (non-emergency) maintenance. The property manager apologized each time and assured me it would not happen again but it continues to happen. On two of the incidents, management gave the master key to a 3rd party contractor that is not even an employee of the community! Imagine as a woman, stepping out of the shower and looking up the hallway to see a man walking in that you have no idea who he is. Although we understand that the lease states they can enter with or without notice and NC law does not require maintenance notice, a little common courtesy (and common sense) would be greatly appreciated. There is term called right to "quiet enjoyment". We have zero confidence at this point that they will ever provide any notice. How much effort does it take to leave a note on the door or send an email saying maintenance needs to visit on MM/DD? Instead they just give the key to the technician and tells him to enter if no one answers. So beware, they can and will enter at any time with no notice. I have rented several dwellings for over seven years and never once had maintenance enter without notice until we moved to Palisades at Legacy Oaks. We certainly will not be renewing our lease and I do not recommend this community for anyone that seeks privacy.

  • DO NOT BE FOOLED

    Apartments are beautiful but walls are paper thin! If you so happen to get rude inconsiderate neighbors like I have who need to realize their floor is my ceiling you will definitely regret living here, parking is a mess, & people do not pick up their dog waste....I HATE IT HERE, once my lease expires there's no chance of me renewing, don't be fooled by the "new community" do yourself a favor and choose another place

  • Good community but...

    October 2, 2017
    This place seems nice and quiet but there is still not a lot of people living here yet. I see this place going downhill quick when more people move in. First off there are ALWAYS people at the pool after hours who are REALLY loud especially late at night. This is rather annoying because I work 40 hours plus a week and like my sleep. Also every time I walk my dog at night I always get a VERY strong smell of marijuana which is very displeasing. I would love to see rules being more in forced. I feel ...
    like this community is just trying to get people moved in by bending some rules which is unfair to people like me who does everything right I.e pay my pet deposit, pick up after my dog, and don't go to the pool after hours, don't use illegal substances, and stay quiet. I would also like a higher police presence if possible. We will see if things improve. I have seen some trash building up as well such as empty alcohol bottles. Please keep this community clean and quiet!!!!

      Thank you for posting your review. Your comfort and right to quiet enjoyment is important to us. We have reached out to the Knightdale Police Department and now have a Trespass Order in place. We encourage residents to call the police when they observe or hear a disturbance and notify the office as well. We believe if word gets out that The Palisades Pool is not the place to frequent after hours because the police will be called they will go elsewhere. Fortunately this has not been an ongoing issue as we have not had any further complaints.
