August 22, 2023The insulation is terrible. You can hear everything that your neighbors are doing and saying!! Not a good place if you work from home. There is no privacy! The neighbors will hear your phone calls. If you live next the elevator you will hear it ding all day/night. The management is rude and unhelpful. They will keep your security deposit for the smallest issues (small hole in carpet and holes from nails in walls)!!! Ridiculous!! Also, they allow pets and allow pet owners to NOT clean up behind ...them so beware when walking around the complex. Not worth the high rent that they charge…not to mention the foul odors in the common areas.Property Manager Responded

Avoid Morgan Properties and look elsewhere
April 8, 2022Our year at Morgan Properties started off on a bad foot and ended up even worse. Upon the first month of living in this property, the cleaning staff that Morgan Properties hired, broke into the apartment below us and threw a party that lasted until 4am during the work week. Police had to be called and charge the cleaning staff with trespassing and damaging the unit. This was extremely disturbing and it felt very unsafe to live there. Upon moving out, we received a bill for countless charges that ...were absolutely ridiculous, but the icing on the cake was being charged for replacing the carpet throughout the entire apartment due to 2 quarter sized patches from our brand new puppy chewing it. The carpet could have easily been patched or replaced in only the area of the damage, but the property told us that because they changed carpet vendors that they had to replace the carpet throughout the entire apartment and we were responsible for the cost of it despite the rest of the carpet being spotless and looking brand new. We not only lost our entire security deposit of $500, but also paid an up front $250 Pet Deposit and monthly pet fees and hundreds more on top of this to cover the final bill. How can a property tout its "Pet Friendliness" and then screw the tenants because of it the second they get the chance? Linn was extremely rude to us on the phone when we called to discuss the outrageous charges which included a fee for a dirty dishwasher that she said to us "We charge everyone for that despite their cleaning efforts" So before you sign a lease, be prepared to pay fees no matter what when you move out. We took great pride in maintaining our apartment and keeping it clean and the fact that this property decided to do this as we left was completely uncalled for. I couldn't be more disappointed in how Morgan Properties tries to squeeze every last dollar out of you before you leave the property. Please consider finding an apartment complex managed by anyone other than Morgan Properties.Property Manager Responded

Great Complex
April 20, 2019Park West 205 is a great place to live- with various planned social activities, a well stocked gym/clubhouse, a washer and dryer in my unit. They are prompt to respond when an issue arrises. I feel safe, which as a single young woman living by herself, is very important. It's super close to the grocery store, and only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Pittsburgh.Review from Apartments.com
