    I have lived here for almost 10 months and feel very safe, even walking my dog within the complex at night. The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to help you with anything you need, and the apartments are well-maintained and very spacious.

    I recently moved into Park on the Square and there are many great things about living here so far. The location is great, right next to grocery stores, restaurants, and UWF. The management is responsive, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. The apartment itself is spacious and I haven’t had an issue with noise. The electronic locks and gated entry provide an extra layer of security, which is a huge plus as well!

    I came in earlier this week to tour with my friend for her to get an apartment for January time frame. I wasn't really looking for anything for myself but after seeing the property and meeting with Miss Hayley and Miss Shannon I may be leaving my current roommate to get an apartment with my friend model apartment is gorgeous. Even the not so renovated units are pretty. Helps that the property is clean and the ladies is the office are sweet and funny.

    I've lived here for about a year and a half, and since new management, this has been a great apartment complex. Christina, Shannon, and Julie work in the front office and are all just really pleasant and helpful. They've taken the time to address and solve every question and concern I've had. The maintenance personnel have been great from the start; Abie and Marquise show up within minutes (day or night) following any maintenance request. Living here has been very low stress which is the best ...
    thing I could ask for with a busy job and little time to spend worrying about anything else. Also, the pool is great, my neighbors are nice, and the gym is stocked and clean. I'd say the only negative is the front gate is broken sometimes but that's almost always one of the resident's faults. I live near the front on the first floor and have never felt unsafe here.

    Prior to move-in, the apartment we applied for had flooded and it had to be fixed. Park on the Square went above and beyond to make sure that everything was in good order before we moved in, and even allowed us to look at the apartment after repairs were made to make sure that everything was ready. When we had a few concerns, they were willing to take some extra time to address the issues and allow us to see it again before making a decision.     Have lived here for multiple years now and the new management is NOT any better than the old! Expect to have your water turned off at least once a week because of pipes bursting. Expect to have your air broken for weeks at least once a year. Expect to have no privacy because staff comes in without permission. "Luxury" living? With appliances that are as old as the buildings themselves? A pool that is constantly green? "Gated" community? When the gate is broken every other week and left open for ...

  • BEWARE

    I have had no heat or hot water for over a week. Maintenance has been here four times and keep saying that they need to order a part. They have yet to order a part. This place should be condemned by the health department. As a military family we have moved into many apartments site unseen, but this is by far the worst place ever. Do not believe the leasing personnel. They are trying to rent the apartments and that’s it. They’ll say anything to get your money.

  • Nice apartments but NOISY

    I just left The Park on the Square and I was lucky to get out of my extended 15 month lease that was supposed to be 1 year. I signed my lease under Covid lockdown where you weren’t allowed in the office, there were no apartment tours and you were sent videos of the model but it wasn’t the necessarily similar to the one they were going to give you, at least in my case. I was very excited about having a porch after living in a studio apartment in Texas, I saw it in the floor plan, in the video they ...
    sent me, I even emailed the manager and asked if there was a power outlet on the porches for my electric grill. But upon arrival, I had no porch. I was given an apartment will a picture window and extended living room space. It went downhill from there. The first month I had a HVAC system that would leak water into the hallway overnight and I spent 24/7 listening to fans and humidifiers blowing for 2 weeks trying to dry the place out and 4 different vendors trying to figure out where the water was coming from. The Park apartments has water shutdowns at least 2 times per month followed by a rush of brown dirt that comes through the water line and out your faucets afterwards each time. It wasn’t a month before I turned to bottled water and a portable ice machine for drinking water. All maintenance was done by vendors for my first 5 months there, because the maintenance men who worked there had gotten into a fight and one was hospitalized and they were both fired. These vendors took complete advantage of the women that worked at the front office and took off with most of the good and bad appliances and toilets that were still good. The front desk crew has since been replaced. I do not recommend Park On The Square.

  • I would never reccomment this place

    i am kicking myself that I didn't make a stink when they changed my lease from 1 year as promised to 15 months during the Covid. The floors transfer so much noise here and my neighbors are so noisy so nights that I have turned to always wearing my headphones to listen to TV and I have earplugs and a white noise generator for sleeping.The bathrooms are very nice, the hard vinyl flooring is great but I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would love to get out of here today.

  • Worst apartment complex

    This apt complex is the worst that I’ve ever seen! They advertise “gated community” (THEY DO NOT CLOSE!) they advertise, a “resort style pool” ( IT IS GREEN & NASTY HALF OF THE TIME!) This place looks dreamy and the ladies up front seem so nice because you are signing a lease with them but let me assure you... as soon as you need them to do something that requires work.. ( their job) they won’t respond! If you are a day late on rent be prepared to pay a $75.00 late fee plus ($10.00) a day ...
    everyday after that! People read your lease before you sign it!!! These people will charge you ( sewer fees & water fees on top of trash fees, parking fees( their is rarely any parking spots available near your apartment so be prepared to walk. The Water goes out all the time( be prepared for random shut off for hours!) DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MONEY HUNGRY dump!!!!!!!!

    We’ve been here for only a couple months now but it is wonderful! The staff is so friendly and funny, they’re very helpful and responsive! The complex is quiet and the neighbors are friendly! There’s a sense of safety and community inside these gates. We absolutely love our new home!
