  • Great place to live!

    I appreciate that staff is available at the leasing office 7 days a week. I’ve lived in other locations where they are only open on weekdays and during 8-5 hour shifts which makes it hard for working folks to take care of anything in person. I mostly speak with the staff that is there on the weekends and they are always attentive and respond promptly. The location of Paz Mar is great! Right by the marina with a great view and near the beach, restaurants, and shopping centers.

    By far the most peaceful apartment complex i have live in, on top of that with a beautiful view. The office staff is always very welcoming, not to mention the property manager, she is great and extremely attentive. The maintenance crew is fantastic, always on top of their job and very helpful always responding to work orders in a timely manner. overall such a lovely place with great staff.

    To start off, the view is excellent. We're facing the harbor and to start and end your day looking at the ocean it's incredible. We have lived here for 11 years and I'm hoping this is our forever home. The apartments are big and spacious. It's an older building, so there is going to be some problems, but we have the best maintenance crew that can fix anything. Most of the time they come the same day you open a work order. Our gardeners work really hard to keep the property nice and the office ...

  • Can't beat the view

    You'd pay 2-5x the price for the harbor view anywhere else. Just make sure you don't get a parking-lot-facing apartment. Some of the amenities are a little outdated, but they've been updating and really improving the place. Highlight other than the view is a very responsive and efficient maintenance team. I lived here for ~2 1/2 years and enjoyed my time here. I would recommend it.

    The management is horrible. Laundry services are always breaking, and the trash areas are disgusting. The new Management is uncaring and horrible with communication with their tenants. I left the place after two years wishing I wasn't forced to move into such an old and unkept facility during COVID. Unfortunately, I was charged for a number of unnecessary cleaning tasks that I left in better condition than the apartment I moved into. I was raised in the military and pride myself on keeping ...
    my home clean and well kept. They weren't hearing about it. I do not recommend moving into these apartments.

    This is the worst place to live, cars are constantly being broken into to, rampant left of anything not nailed down. Homeless people sleeping in the laundry rooms and dumpsters. They take months to respond to any problems. They won't install cameras but they spent thousands painting the walls for the 100th time. It's a filthy place to live with tons and tons of problem.

  • Don't believe what you see!

    Let me start by saying that I chose these apartments completely online, as I was moving long distance and was unable to come look for apartments in person. I chose Paz Mar because of the location, access to shopping, the A+ rating for safety and walkability, and of course the pretty pictures of the apartments themselves. I figured I would be moving to a beautiful, well kept, oceanfront complex that everyone dreams about. Boy was I wrong. Instead, I was welcomed with a filthy, smelly apartment ...
    reeking of dog urine looking like it had been painted by pre-schoolers. Trash all over the grounds. Underwear hanging from the trash cans, overflowing recycling bins, which nobody takes care of, neighbors flicking cigarette butts off their balconies, dog running off leash and barking like mad, neighbors arguing, water that constantly runs from hot to cold and back, "extra storage" which means a cupboard in your carport that doesn't close, and on and on. In short, run. Don't waste your time here. Run! For the amount you pay in rent, you can find a much better place, with management that cares about the property and its tenants. And you can drive to the marina and the beach. Trust me on this, you'll thank me later.

    Pazmar was a great place to live when I first moved in. The last two years have been a nightmare in building 2800. The neighbors upstairs had over 75 complaints, security called, and the police and the property manager never evicted them. It caused me emotional distress. Now some new people moved back in and it’s the same situation. The property manager promised me a new apartment for the same price on the top floor but has failed to deliver on her promise and commitment. The parking lot looks ...
    like a junk yard where abandoned cars are stored. They are never towed for removal and makes the community look like a dump. Last year in building 2800 we were without hot water for five days and were never fully compensated for the inconvenience. I just wish the property manager would deliver on her promises and commitments!
