"Renovated" units are in terrible condition
November 14, 2023These "newly renovated" units look awful. They really give you the landlord special here. I have a mosquito on my wall that was painted over. The baseboards are rotting, the studs are warped, the flooring is not cut right, honestly the building should be condemned.Property Manager Responded

No respect for tenants
March 30, 2022Management sent out a text to everyone saying they would ship their packages back to the sender if they were not picked up fast enough. And they don't even notify us when we have a package. Just yesterday they attached flyers to everyone’s doors saying they are starting “VIP” trash pick up, which includes a $15 monthly charge that everyone has to pay on top of rent. You can’t opt out of it! It’s just stupid to already pay so much and have to endure this kind of stuff.Property Manager Responded

Go somewhere else. Staff is horrible
September 1, 2019Our stay initially started off okay, however the frequent changes in management have been awful. We have moved out of state, and they have been a nightmare to deal with. The apartments are overpriced for what you are getting-- do not take the model unit at face value. The units are not well taken care of, and management will scam you and charge you for things that were already wrong in the apartment. This is a warning for anyone thinking about signing a lease here. The only reason we stayed ...for so long was because of Dena, the old property manager. She hosted events and was personable to everyone, but she is no longer there. We have since been screwed over time and time again by the current staff.Property Manager Responded

It's great!
February 3, 2018I love living at Post Oak. The staff is always really kind to me, and they take great care of my apartment. I love having a washer and dryer in my unit, and I enjoy riding the cart to class. The staff has always been great about giving my dogs treats, and I love that I can have my packages shipped to the office. My apartment can't get better for the price I pay.Property Manager Responded

They don't give you your deposit back. Rent somewhere else
August 31, 2017I would put 0 stars but it doesn't let me... so DON'T LEASE HERE!!! I moved to Post Oak on August 2015, payed every single rent on time, sometimes even in advance of a few days. When I moved out in May 15th, everything was working well, no damages or anything to the property. When I moved in I payed a $500 security deposit since I was an international student with no credit history. On May 16th 2017, I went to the main office to give back the keys and tell the employees I was moving out and the ...apartment was empty. I asked when I would get my security deposit back, they said it would take a month approximately. Then, I called after a month and they told me it was one month after my lease was over, which was May 31st. Called back on the first days of June and nothing, they said it can take more time. On July 1st I received a final statement through my email in which they applied some cleaning and maintenance fees to my deposit and they owe me $330. After that, nothing else came. I have called several times, speak even with the manager (Amy) and they don't seem to be worried about solving the problem or anything. I've called almost every week since the last days of July, and they said the check was issued but it never came. I've verified my address and phone number at least a dozen times. Also, they never call you back. They always say, let me look at this, contact our Corporate Office in Denver, and we'll call you back. Well, wait while comfortably seated because they are NEVER going to call you back. Furthermore, they are going to say they called you and informed you using the calls you made them. So, they will say they communicated with you to inform you when in fact you are the person who has to call every single time. Today, August 31st, I still haven't got anything back from them, not even a single call. And they say it's not their fault. So I guess it's mine because I can't control the check mailing with my mind (?). My advice is DON'T LEASE HERE!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Also, because the check "never came", they had to cancel and reissue it, that was an extra $20 charge for me.Property Manager Responded
