    Sam is AMAZING. My neighbors are wonderful ppl I moved here for a year from Chicago, best decisions ever. It’s cozy, it’s quite, no bugs, everything is professional, everyone responses quickly, maintenance issues solve quick. My 2 year old daughter and I felt SAFE & enjoyed playing in our yard ... I’m choosing to move to a busier city because I’m still young and wanna see the world but yeah if all else fails I’m coming back. You’ll be perfectly fine, just move here & mind your own business

    ***DO NOT RENT FROM ROLAND LANES APARTMENTS!!!*** Extremely unprofessional. The answering machine was broken so I called a few times to attempt to leave a message. When I called back, a sarcastic, vile woman answered the phone, seemingly nicely, but as I expressed my interest in renting with them she said, verbatim, “You need to learn to leave a message and not call back a million times. We will answer you when we’re ready; you don’t need to spam our phone.” She did not care that her answering ...
    machine was broken, and responded that she was “incapacitated” with neck and back issues that apparently make her unable to be neither professional or respectful. Even as I responded politely, she didn’t have the decency to show half of the respect I gave her. If this is how a prospective renter is treated, I can only imagine how her actual renters’ issues are handled. I will not tolerate that disrespect, and neither should any of their prospective renters. No cheap price of rent is worth the enormous attitude this landlady has, and she should possibly rethink her career if she wants to have any business at all. Disgusting and a joke.

I reached out to both the manager and her manager to discuss your concerns. While she indicated that a series of about 15 phone calls came in at 1-minute increments and that she was ill, she does indeed understand that her feeling ill is not an excuse for poor manners or a lack of professionalism. She really is an effective property manager who attends to all of her residents' comments, questions, concerns, and suggestions. We do hope you do not consider this isolated incident as a reflection of the apartment home itself and we do apologize.   • Would not recommend

    I had a horrible experience with these apartments. My downstairs neighbors were loud 24/7, had at least 10 people living there (illegally - these were 1-2 people apartments), were disrespectful (mainly due to sexual harassment), and I had a terrible experience with staff. Needless to say, I couldn't wait to move. I went through several landlords and even more maintenance people in the year I spent there. They were rude and not reliable. I was also accused of breaking rules several times, which I ...
    never did. I'm assuming it was a way to get more money out of me or keep my security deposit. My safety was always in question (again - due to neighbors) and I used to barricade my door and I had pepper spray on me at all times. I was told this was a smoke-free apartment, but then to my surprise, found out people could smoke if they want because they were grandfathered in. If I was told that in advance, I wouldn't have moved in. I wish I would have done more research before choosing these apartments. While they're updated and are a reasonable price, I would never recommend these apartments or this area to anyone.

    This apartment is a great price. It is a little small but it’s perfect for someone living on their own like me. Also I think the management is great. I’ve had problems that got fixed the next day when I would call about something. I think Jill does a great job managing all of these apartments.

    My wife and I have been at Roland lane for a year and a half now and have been very pleased with the apartments in the time we have lived here. This area used to be a more sketch part for living in apartments, but the apartment manager in the past few years has truly turned it around to be a warm and welcoming place to live. We are most pleased both with this and general management. They have gone out of their way to ensure we have what we need and they have promised to provide; that said, they ...

  • Happy as Can Be

    My family and I moved from a duplex and found the size of the unit to be quite nice and not much smaller than the duplex we were in. The nicest part though was the price difference though. Saving money is always good. Jill is also a pleasure to work with, very nice. My family and I are very happy indeed.

  • IN Response to the "Deer Run" Manager

    I am referring to the ROLAND LANE manager, Jill. I did not live, or do not know about Deer Run. This is a review for Roland Lane. I have proof of several unanswered voicemail messages I had left when I lived there. Also proof of maintenance definitely taking several days if not weeks to get maintenance issues taken care of. We had black mold growing in our shower non-stop, that was just painted over twice by maintenance. Our bathroom fan was "fixed" several times, upon further examination by an ...
    expert, the ventilation is not up to building code, which I'm sure is the cause for the mold. We also discussed our displeasure with Jill on the phone and she just hung up on us. Also I know several tenants that were affected by other noisy and dirty tenants that was reported to the manager directly and her response was to deal with the tenant directly. Not our responsibility as a resident, that is what you are paid to do as a MANAGER. I seriously encourage all of you looking to rent, that that small of an outdated apartment is not worth anywhere near what they are asking for. Also Premier Management needs to seriously reconsider their options for a manager. My number one complaint about Roland Lanes.

  • Poor Management, Small Units

    I've lived here for several years. We've had 4 rent increases within 2 years. The management is so awful. The on-site manager NEVER returns any calls. We have to threaten to get anything fixed, they take several weeks to get things fixed. As soon as they get you locked into a lease, they don't care about your questions or concerns. If residents violate the written rental agreement, they don't care. The square footage is not correct. I've measured my unit, and it's literally 200 sq. feet less ...
